"Absolutely under no circumstances use Adams Flooring. Shalenday, their office manager, is truly delightful and bends over backwards to support the customer. However, she cannot overcome the inflexibility and lack of concern of their owner, Doug, who refuses to communicate via cell phone and is unwilling to work with the customer on schedules and timing. At the end of the day, I lost $900 for temporary lodging for my family to be out of the house for the job, and had to cancel the contract. Use someone else who is willing to communicate about scheduling problems, and who has at least an ounce of concern for his clients. Stay away from Adams Flooring - it could NOT have been a worse experience. I will now be selling my house without the floors being done because the other contractors are already booked through the end of the year."

"The previous great reviews are well deserved, Our project was extensive including removal of ceramic and laminate to install new hardwood to match the wood they would refinish. The project included stairs as well. A very large open area. The finished project looks amazing. If you didn’t know the new wood wasn’t part of wood that existed prior, you’d never know. The new stain color is great and even. The stairs required a lot of work and it’s incredible. A week prior laminate planks were installed in a bath, laundry and mud/utility room. Just great. Everyone who worked on this project was very friendly, hard working and careful with their work, The owner is top-notch. He is meticulous and is very careful to be sure all work was completed to his high standard and if even a small detail is off—he makes sure it is corrected. He is one of those people when you meet him, your gut tells you he is trust-worthy. Very true. His pricing is very fair. (A different company quoted us nearly double . My gut had already told me not to trust the other company) We are very pleased with the quality of work, the professionalism of the company as a whole and pricing. Should receive more than 5 stars!"

"Incredible work ethic. Project was outside in very cold weather. These men never stopped working not even for lunch. Less than two full days and I have a beautiful fence. I will make it a point to seek out this company for all of my home projects. I will be needing a new roof soon and they will be my first call. "Mike and his crew did an amazing job and for far less cost than we expected. Our floors- Over 3,400sf of original heart pine floors in a Shenandoah Valley house built around 1880. The team was professional, timely, courteous, and best of all the work was done with very minimal dust and cleanup needed! Not only were they skilled and knowledgeable, they communicated clearly with us at every step; instructions for setting up the project, what to expect as they proceeded, what the finished product would look like including providing a mockup to see how the floors would take the stain, and they exceeded their own plans by finishing the work sooner than expected. "We live on a hill, with a set of steps to navigate the front yard, that end in a landing at the bottom. They were destroyed in an accident. Steve and his crew at SS Creative were the contractor I selected to repair the work. They did an excellent job matching the new construction to the old construction. Although I didn't expect it, they finished the job on Christmas Eve! I intend to call them for future projects. Excellent craftsmanship!"

"We chose Sword Hardwood Flooring because the company facility is in our neighborhood and Sword has a well-established presence in our area. We replaced about 400 square feet of carpeting with hardwood in our master bedroom and walk-in closet. The company owner visited our home with samples of the wood flooring, clearly explained our options, and emailed a cost estimate a few days afterward. The hardwood floor was installed on schedule two weeks after we accepted the estimate. The project required only one day to complete. The installer installed quarter-round shoe molding he stained to match the wood floor color. The installer hauled away the old carpet and cleaned up thoroughly after the project was completed. We are highly satisfied with the work and the appearance of the flooring."

"I just wanted to throw a huge shout out to Jenkins Restorations, namely the following individuals: David, Sergio, Nick, and Jamie. First off, David has been the hero we have all needed a ton of times over the last few months. We first met David late 2023 as we were in the process of replacing the floors and found a TON of really terrible damage. It was literally like peeling the layers off of a really moldy-from-the-inside onion where every layer of house that we removed exposed a bigger and more complex issue. David was always prompt, responsive, helpful, professional, helped us through the insurance claim process, and met with our insurance adjuster 3 times? 4 times? He really went out of his way to advocate for us, and we truly felt like we were in good hands. The whole project, which required estimate after estimate, was handled so promptly on the side of Jenkins Restoration, so we were never left waiting for something from them. We were so happy to work with David and his team. Welp, as destiny would have it, we would get to work with Jenkins Restoration again several months later due to one of the children negligently flooding the bathroom sink. While we were never hoping to see David under these circumstances again, we ended up contacting him and within hours? Maybe? We had his water damage team in our house to start mitigation. This is where we met Sergio and Nick, two young and personable professionals who worked in our home from around 3:30pm to 8:00pm-ish to cut out the damaged ceiling, perform moisture readings, set up large dehumidifiers, etc. The VERY next morning, we had Jamie here to assess the situation in order to further assess things. He was super friendly, professional, and honest (about how my husband’s dad jokes were NOT funny – glad I had the opportunity to connect with Jamie on that level). As it stands right now, an adjustor from our insurance company asked if he could come here on Sunday morning to assess the damages. We asked David at some time around 7am if he was available to be present for this, and he responded within seconds that he was. He continues to take care of us and look out for our best interests. I would recommend Jenkins Restoration to anyone who needs some work done as they give us that Chick-Fil-A treatment by treating us like their favorite cousin. 5/5 would recommend, and I would give them MORE stars if I could."
