Overall very poor quality. Paint is very scraggly and crooked Very thin coats applied. Some areas completely missed with paint. Paint droppings everywhere including bed sheets. Flooring trimming is poorly applied. Less than a month and already lifting. For $20k it’s not worth it at all. They did not clean up after themselves. Left dirty paint brushes in the sink with the water running when we came home. Urine in toilets. Food left on tables and flooring. Late to show up or not at all.

This guy Darryl is a character, will NEVER use his company again. He will start out very friendly and professional to suck you in and convince you that you are getting a QUALITY EXPECTATION. He does not do all the work himself, contract out certain things (plumbing and drywall, which were good). The work Darryl did was horrible, made many mistakes when building my bar, the framing was off, had to redo it three different times, he did know how to read the plans done by HomeDepot, had to order several additional pieces because he kept messing up, and kept canceling on appointment date, took 3 months. The counter top company had to put in 30 shims to get the counter top leveled. He pretended to know my designer at the HomeDepot and assured that he had worked with her before, which was a lie. To start the job he wanted 50% deposit to start, each time he came to work, he wanted another 50% of the 50%. Also he punched a hole in the waterline, which cause a leak and molded developed behind the bar. NEVER AGAIN!

Awesome, totally awesome.  Very responsive to email, phone calls, and service.  Darryl is very pleasant to speak and work with and quick to get to the job and complete it.  He worked in the rain and cool temperatures to fix the mailbox before the mail would have been delivered.  I definitely recommend this company and will definitely use their services again!  I couldn't be more pleased!

Overall the work was good.  However, the doors over the aquarium had to be re-done.  When finished, the woodwork was o, but not expertly done.  So, I grade their woodwork as a "C."  They were very responsible, responsive, and professionsal in their demeanor and left all work areas extremely clean and neat.

"I appreciate the opportunity to perform the work at the [member last name]'s home. I was very surprised to read this review as throughout every phase of the project I walked through with both Mr. and Mrs. [member last name] to check for any discrepancies or dislikes. Mr. [member last name] stated his position on a few items and Mrs. [member last name] had a very different opinion which at the time I stepped back and waited for them to make a decision. Mrs. [member last name] upon completion was very happy with the project and Mr. [member last name] was still of the mindset that he was not pleased. When I read this review, I wondered why it took so long for Mr. [member last name] to write it and immediately called the [member last name]'s to see what I could do to rectify the situation. Mr. [member last name] once again stated that Mrs. [member last name] was very happy with the project and that he was not. I explained to him why from a structural standpoint why the deck boards were placed the way they were as it prevented water from seeping back into the foundation area thus preventing water buildup and wood rot. Mr. [member last name] was the author of the review and again, we would be willing to come out and attempt to make both Mr. and Mrs. [member last name] happy with their front porch deck project."

We had an excellent first-time experience with this local handyman company.  Owner Mr. Chavez came by to see what job would entail before giving us an estimate.  Estimate seemed reasonable (we provided the new mailpost and mailbox), so we took a chance.  Crew member Jeff arrived within a reasonable time on the day promised, and with an impressive array of tools and equipment, to include a hole-digger.  Jeff was very competent, professional, courteous and customer-oriented.  His installation included solidifying the mail post into a concrete base (old mailpost had just been placed into the ground with no concrete base), which he mixed up on-site. When we unpackaged the new mailbox we had purchased, there were no attaching screws or nails - but no problem, Jeff had plenty on hand.  Jeff cheerfully installed a FLS paperbox and new house address numbers on the new post as well.  He also adjusted the new mailbox's stiff, cranky lid so that it would open and close properly. Bottom line: an excellent overall experience with Quality Expectations, a company that we would definitely recommend and consider using again.

The estimate was done within a couple of days, and the work was performed with perfection!  Mr. Chavez took his time and measured the deck.  He was flexible on the terms of the agreement and stuck to his words.  Although he and his team were ready to go on schedule, I asked him to wait a few day's to be sure that the deck would have enough time to dry in between daily rain showers.  He stayed in contact with me and performed the job as agreed.  I would definitely recommend him to do work for any and all that need his expertise.

The owner is fantastic, he was able to get the job done with a few days of me calling because I was having floors installed. My only problem was that they accidentally painted part of a wall that was already painted, fixed it but not so that it isn't noticeable, there is a large drip on the wall and they didn't put a second coat on one of the walls. All minor things, but in the future I will take a closer look at any jobs I hire them to do in the future.

The work and the price were excellent.  Had some communication problems with regards to the days the work would be performed.  It was resolved quickly and apologies were made for the confusion.  In all, an 8 ft section of drywall was removed and replaced.  The insulation above the removed drywall was replaced, and the drywall was mudded and the ceiling textured to match the rest of the ceiling, and the walls and ceiling were painted in all areas where the drywall was replaced.

"It was our pleasure working with [member name removed]. Customers like them make our job a pleasure. We did have a delay by one day as our drywall professional had an unexpected medical issue that compromised his ability to be on site. That was resolved and job completed."

I had a very pleasant experience with Quality Expectations. They did a great job with my bath tub, I can't even tell it was cracked. I'll be using them again if I need any other work down around the house.

I found Quality Expectations on Angies List, I was hesitant to call because therre were only two reviews, but were both good. So I called Daryl and he was prompt. He came and looked at the leak, found the source of the potential leak and caulked it. He showed my wife where the source was (it was a bay window roof).  He said the damage was minimal to the ceiling and just needed paint. He did not charge us anything for his visit or the fix. He said to call him if I needed him or the leak was not fixed.  i would recommend Quality Expectation. Thanks Daryl.

We had wanted hardwood floors in our kitchen and bathroom for quite awhile. After doing some research, we choose Quality Expectations to do the work. They gave us a great price and they were very friendly and helpful in discussing what we wanted done. The new floors look great, and I will use Quality Expectations again in the future. Highly recommended!

We called Quality Expectations  to fix a damaged floor; and the owner, Darryl Chavez, was very prompt in coming out to give  a reasonable estimate. We found Darryl  to be very pleasant, professional, and thorough in completing the job. The floor is now quite solid and the hardwood replacement is excellent. He cleaned the work area perfectly. Overall, we could not have asked for better work.  Quality Expectations very much exceeded our expectations, and we would certainly use them in the future and recommend them to others.
