"Could not be happier with the progress with The Contractors from start to finish. The quote in the beginning was detailed, thoughtful, and in-line with what we expected. We received quotes from 3 other places (both full gut job and refacing) and the Contractors hit the bill on cost, answers to questions, detail of quote and thoughtfulness. John was an excellent resource for my MANY questions on everything from details of installation to composition of cabinetry, etc. The install process was straightforward and Jeremiah cleaned up absolutely everything each day. His attention to detail was impressive. We had a LOT done-refacing on about 30+cabinets, building (from scratch) a new set of custom-sized cabinets to fit in built in wine fridge, new tile, new quartz countertops including a new breakfast bar extending along former knee wall. They even extended existing cabinets and you can't tell at all what was old and what was new. We are incredibly pleased and the kitchen is gorgeous. Any issues (no reno is completely problem free) were handled swiftly and deftly by the owner with open and thorough communication. Would definitely recommend."

"We interviewed several different contractors for this work (approximately 7-8) since we knew this was going to be a large and expensive project. We felt most comfortable with Bret who took the time to understand our needs/wants and drew up a scope of the plan and a proposed layout of what we were looking for. Upon seeing his estimate, it came in on the lower end of our other contractors and based on his good reviews, we decided to move forward. Based on getting permits, the start of the job went very quickly. We have gotten quite a bit of work done in our home and have to say that Bret's crew were very professional, knowledgeable, and did very high quality work on what was done (I wish I had gone with Bret and his company for other past projects). A big plus was as we move forward with the project, we had several design changes done and Bret and his team were willing to accommodate the scope which was very helpful. While the project was going on, we also had a baby born and all the meanwhile, no interruptions in the work nor much of our time was needed to keep things going. As mentioned, our project was turn-key so his crew did everything including framing, drywall, plumbing, flooring, painting, all finishing touches to the end. What started as a basic job became a highly custom job but Bret and his team were up for the task. We are thrilled with the end result and glad we get to enjoy it with our friends and family for many years to come. In fact, everyone that has come by our home and sees the basement thinks it is really good work. This coming from someone that is very meticulous and particular. Whether we had a very minimal job or a high-end custom job, I would be confident to go with Bret and his team for the job."

Instead I got a skilled professional who understood how to do the job, a perfectionist that was able to solve developing issues on the run when the job threaten to stop the project. "They were okay. It was a little expensive for what we got. It is very versatile. They are heavy duty wall panels that have horizontal slits in it and the system hangs from those slits. The biggest advantage is that we can move things around if our needs change. I've had to reinforce a couple of the cabinets and the shelving in the corners. It is plastic but it holds up pretty well because it is protected in the garage. I didn't think the amount of weight it says it will hold was necessarily correct in all cases. The hooks have been fine. My only issues have been with the cabinets. The price is pretty steep. They were late and it took them several days to get it installed."

"I got this item for a bargain at a second hand store. It was made in England in the 1920's. Someone painted it pink! Metropolitan stripped and re-finished the cabinet. Looked brand new when it came back to me. Pricing was fair for the excellent work done."
