But then they were not able to do the more expensive option so they went and got the part for the lower price option. But ultimately they charged me for the higher price option. I have called three days in a row and have not been able to resolve the price discrepancy."

"No, I hired the R&r to repair my HVAC and install some light bulbs. The furnace is still not working and obviously the work was not completed. They were paid twice for the initial work because the contractor indicated that they did not receive the PayPal that was sent to them on 10/21/2025. Contractor requested that another payment be sent via Zelle with the understanding that the PayPal payment be returned or canceled. I have not heard from contractor regarding work or refund and I am still waiting on my returned funds via PayPal. "

Pro Sky got the nod because they could dispatch a technician immediately. It mattered when our house was getting so cold so fast. It also helped that Frank explained clearly his companyâ s approach in his initial response. As soon as I confirmed the appointment with Frank, I received a text giving an ETA for technician William to come by. Oh, another thing I like about Pro Sky is they use the Housecall Pro platform to send me appointment info, estimates, and receipts. All were super clear, and the platform was so convenient. Back to William, he arrived promptly wearing a mask and minding his distance. He listened patiently to the long history of issues weâ ve had with our Carrier Infinity thermostat before setting out to run the diagnostic tests on our heat pump. The tests confirmed the system was in good shape, the problem was with the thermostat. William took the time to explain our options for a thermostat replacement and addressed all of our questions and concerns without trying to sell us any particular product (or service for that matter). Our A/C stopped blowing cold air on a near-100-degree day last week. Who you gonna call? Of course, I called Pro Sky. Frank reassured me he would always have availability for a loyal customer. A different technician this time, the process was the same. I received a text with a link to Housecallproâ s job description, arrival window, and estimate ($45 for a diagnosis visit). Santo arrived on time, made a quick diagnose (bad capacitor), provided a reasonable price quote for a replacement which we agreed to. He replaced the dual capacitor, did a health check of our A/C system and was done in about 30 minutes. Super efficient! The service fee was waived in our final bill. "The APR21 initial HVAC installation was successful, and the heat pump worked fine during the cooler months. However, when summer arrived the condenser unit in the basement leaked, and the water damaged the basement carpet. The dominion service man discovered that the air filter (20x16) had NOT been installed during the initial HVAC installation, and based on his many years of experience that caused the overflow. Dominion still charged me for the visit, claiming that the new drain was clogged Mind you, this was an entirely new HVAC installation, and a clogged drain after 8 weeks of AC operation is not likely - except when the filter is not installed. This was my experience with Dominion Service Company."
