"Being a MVP customer was time for Heating/Cooling safety inspections. Kevin Stanley was the HVAC Service Tech assigned to the job. He went over a few issues on our older unit he found during his inspection. I never felt pressured to have the work done and so glad he resolved them on the same day. He definitely went out of his way doing a great job. He explained everything to me that he was doing and also answering all the questions I had. The price was reasonable. "JES Foundation contracts all their electrical work out to Root Electric. In the process of installing my new sump pump, back-up sump pump, and sump pump alarm system, it was determined that a new dedicated outlet could not be created due to my existing electrical panel being too small. Thus, I needed to get an electrical panel upgrade. Through JES Foundation, a date and time was arranged to have my new electrical panel upgrade installed. The lead Root electrician Andrew, and his assistant Andy, dd a terrific job installing the new upgraded electric panel. They were both very friendly, efficient, and professional. Andrew afterwards walked me through everything that was done, and answered any questions that I had. They also cleaned up afterwards very well. I highly recommend Root Electric and JES Foundation to anyone who needs their expertise."

Without a thorough home inspection performed by a qualified professional, neither the buyer nor the seller can really know what defects may exist in a home.
"I lived in Arizona where an inspection includes a drippy faucet or burned our light bulb so to be fair, I am not sure what requirements Virginia has. We were not here but sent our son-in-law to participate. Since we have been in, our pipes bang when the water is turned on. Our electric patio screen was ripped up the side. The plug unit behind the tv that was left is literally falling out of the wall and taking wall with it. One of the blinds that we will be changing anyway, was not screwed in and I tried to open it and the entire thing fell on me. I have a box of electrical wires in the closet in a box. The box cover was broken, lying on the floor and all the 30+ wires were hanging out to the floor. The only other thing I can recall and probably too cosmetic was each bath room had towel bats, none match and also falling out of the wall. They had obviously repainted and their was paint on everything, light fixtures, cabinets etc. These things would have been noted in a AZ inspection but as I said, maybe not required in VA."
