We have worked with James twice. He's friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about a variety of engineering concerns. His inspections have been systematic and thorough. On the inspection he did several years ago for us, he identified several items of concern and mechanical systems that were nearing the end of their service life; pretty much everything he predicted would fail soon has, and everything he identified as being totally fine has been in fact totally fine. What more could you ask for?

This is probably the best home inspection I have ever had! James was thorough and thoughtful in his inspection. He followed up with a phone call after he was done and the report followed first thing the next day. The report was easy to read, pictures showing everything good and not so good. We have relied on both inspections and radon tests from Advanced Home Inspections for both of our home purchases. Their inspections and reports are very detailed and easy to understand. Both James and Matt have assisted us in the past and have been so helpful! Most recently, Matt walked us through the house following his inspection and explained some of the areas for improvement that we should be aware of in terms we could understand, as well as answered our many questions. Friends of ours recommended James to come do our home inspection. He looked at everything and was at the house for a little over 3 hours. He checked everything and let us know about anything we should know about right away instead of waiting for the report. He was very friendly and did a great job. I would 100% recommend having James do your inspection if you are looking for someone to really look into everything on your property.

James was a top notch inspector. The seller of the house was not a very stable person and on James's first visit he told him to get out of the house. James handled the situation so well and rescheduled the second inspection date only a week later. He was so accommodating with his scheduling and got me my report very quickly. He explained everything about the house that would need updating in a way that I understood. If I never needed another inspection done he would be the guy I would call!

I hired Advanced Home Inspections and scheduling was easy and he met me at the new house and we discussed what the process is and what to expect. James explained what he was looking for and if he found something what he was looking at. I received reports the next day and he also called to follow-up with any questions we had regarding the reports.
