We tried to do a Windows 10 update but ended up unable to find/retrieve any of our files. PC Masters/Gordon had done work on our PC before - when I texted he answered right away & set up a time. He was able to remote in and fix everything - it was wonderful! Not only did we get back files, but pictures, all icons, links still had connections - and he cleaned out all the 'junk' at the same time. I went from miserable to extremely happy! Super service, I can't say enough good things.

Gordon evaluated whether I would need more memory or not. He determined that it was just a cleanup required, and that helped speed up my computer a lot. Even though it took him longer than expected to take care of because of so many issues with the computer, he was very patient and did not charge any more than original low estimate.

Excellent - Gordon worked a long time removing several malware and generally cleaning up my computer. I have now signed with him to do an every 6 months clean up of my computer.

Called Gordon early in the morning and he arrived at about 11 that same morning. Diagnosed my problem and cleaned two laptops plus set up the third. Took roughly two hours. He was efficient and effective throughout. Will definitely use him the next time I need service.

Gordon did an excellent job getting my computers up and running after a Windows update disaster. Gordon was extremely knowledgeable and patient with me. He listened to my computer problems and did not stop until he fixed both my computers. He and provided updates thorught the progress and quick to comolete the job and had me up and running the next day! I would highly recomment his service to everyone, looking for an honest, knowledgeable and professional computer "Geek". He gets the job done right in no time.

I searched Angie’s List for a PC technician with great reviews and came across Gordon’s company. I reached out to him and he responded that same day. My computer had a virus that caused it to run very slowly and not respond at times. I live in Alabama so he did the work remotely. When I spoke to Gordon on the phone to discuss the issue, he was very professional and explained step by step what he was doing. He cleaned my computer up and it works like new again. I am very thankful!

Really well. I was happily surprised that Gordon logged in remotely right away when I called with my list of problems. He did a lot of cleaning, which helped significantly. He also found a big Cox Service problem - with power surging & then almost dropping off. So Cox service came out & replaced a modem (said they had stopped using this modem last year) and checked the lines. After cable folks did all their repair Gordon signed in again and checked to be sure everything was good. Its wonderful to have fast email again. I will use him every 6 months for basic check ups. Really pleased with this service. (Got an Angie's discount!)

I relied on the reviews on here as well as the Angie's List certification in working with this company (Gordon, who worked on my computer, is the owner I believe) and I am dumbfounded by the disparity between my experience and what people are saying on here. Bottom line is that four months after what I thought was a regrettable decision to work with this company, I’ve discovered it was much worse than I realized and the work that was done on my computer was not competently done. I had no intention of doing a review, although I was not thrilled with the experience with this company (Gordon was quickly responsive when I called-true to what people say on here- and came right over and took my machine, but from there it was a different story). He's personable and presented himself professionally, but when someone takes my computer, says I'll hear from them later that same day and I don't, I'm just left to worry my machine has been stolen and it makes a lasting impression. This is my work machine, it was very troubling to have it broken and he indicated he thought I was probably wrong (I thought it was the power supply) and it was the Mother Board which would be catastrophic... and I'm just left to worry not a peep until I chased after him the following day. I trusted the company based on this site and prayed I got my machine back, hopefully fixed in a reasonable time frame. I don't know what parts cost and trusted the pricing would be fair and quality would be appropriate, again based on this site. Ultimately, even mistakenly assuming the repair had been done properly, I felt the work took longer than it should have, his communication lapse was major to me, and I decided that the high cost of his service was not worth it. What has me speaking up now is that I think it is important to share that in my case he did very poor work and I don't know if he's unscrupulous or was just sloppy, but either way it was unacceptable and troubling. Yesterday, I discovered that the repair he made and charged me handsomely for, was improperly done. Four months later and I had to bring my machine into Microcenter with what I thought was the same power supply problem. It turns out, the supply wasn't dead, it was inadequate for my system causing it to crash and not boot back up. Gordon had installed a 350W power supply in a machine that needed 460W or higher. He also got what appears to be a cheapy part and charged me $80, when a quality 550W power supply cost me less than half that yesterday at Microcenter. I’ve heard of adding margin to parts, but that is gauging in my opinion! Worse, here the part is available locally, yet he made me wait days for the repair due to shipping issues when he could have gone to a store, bought a quality part, still made margin on the mark up and gotten me my machine much sooner. I know all this because when I went to Microcenter yesterday, a super busy place, I got my machine repaired in a matter of a few hours and the actual repair took minutes once they turned to my unit. When I picked it up yesterday I was given the box for the new part (complete with warranty info, manual and price tag - I got nothing from Gordon respecting the part he installed) and the old part installed by Gordon (which is how I can prove that he used an improper part that in addition to causing my system to intermittently crash, may have damaged components, only time will tell). A qualified computer tech should not have made this error. Beware.

"Thank you for your review. The reason why I did not call that same day was not able to diagnose the machine until the next morning, as I had many other off-site help calls that day. I made the assumption that because you used Angie's list, I came to your house with my work truck, and presented you my business card you knew that I was a reputable business and would not steal your computer. If I knew that was a concern I would have contacted you to let you know I did not have a diagnosis that evening. As far as the cost of the repair and the power supply, I had gone to two local computer shops that I get most of my computer parts and they did not have that part on hand. I had to order the part which took time for shipping. For the power supply itself, I replaced it with the exact wattage that the computer had to avoid issues such as this one. Sounds like the computer may have originally come with the wrong power supply and that was causing the issue. To address the price for the power supply I am a small family owned business, we do not have the buying power of Microcenter so our prices are higher. I believe that I charged you a fair price for the work that was done: picking up your computer and returning it, diagnosis, replacement of the faulty part, hooking it back up, testing it, and having the customer sign off on the work. I pride myself on great customer service and even after four months if the machine was doing the same thing you could have simply contacted me because it would have been under warranty and there would not have been a charge. Even if it was a different problem altogether for example the motherboard all work would have been free of charge."

Very well. I have used Gordon's services once or twice before and will again if needed. He is quick to respond, is very knowledgeable, and is able to diagnose the issue effectively. The computer has been cleaned up remotely, making a house call unnecessary. I am very pleased with his services.

Most everything went smoothly. There were a couple of small things that didn't function as needed so I called and the work was completed within 48 hours. I have since had to reach out sporadically over a couple of years and each time Gordon has answered my questions and taken care of whatever has needed to be done.

I am an individual consumer with minimal technical skills. Gordon responded to my voicemail within minutes and after listening to the description of my laptop's issues, offered to investigate remotely. He patiently walked me through the remote set up process, asked questions and then successfully resolved the issues. He double checked each solution and then waited for me to verify each function was operational. Saved me hours of further frustration!

I was having difficulty for months dealing with my computer. I've only done my best to troubleshoot my own issues and for the most part resolve them. Unfortunately during this occasion there was a connection issue between my computer and my printer. Not being able to print or use word was giving me headaches. I called several companies that seemed to want to help, but was more of a national company instead of something local. I wanted a small business that I could use in the future and be able to establish a relationship with. Gordon was very professional from the beginning and was even able to help me out on a Saturday over New Year's Eve weekend. He was patient and explained everything. I didn't even have to stay on the phone, he would just call or text when he needed something and the whole issue was resolved quickly. I was very pleased with the service and I will continue to contact Gordon if I have any other computer issues

My usually tech--savvy son was unable to determine why my computer was unable to continue updating as normal. After a brief conversation, followed by a complete scan, the problem was discovered (it did take longer than I expected, but I knew it wasn't a "usual" or "easy" problem) and it was resolved satisfactorily. I would definitely call again should I have anything go wrong with my laptop!
