They carefully showed us the camera images and explained what everything was to my elderly parents. They suggested we contact our home insurance provider and said they would provide the information to submit. The estimate was very detailed, including photos and brochures about chimney safety and I submitted the information. State Farm immediately agreed to cover the damage and a crew from Jiminy Chimney came out and completed the work in horrible cold conditions because my Dad wanted to have a fire in the fireplace for Christmas. I could appreciate the guys at Jiminy Chimney more and have nothing but good things to say! Thanks so much, my parents enjoyed lovely fires all winter."

"Jesse was very responsive and performed a quick repair after a windstorm to prevent further damage while we were preparing for a full roof replacement. His proposal was very competitive and thorough. Jess kept us up to date on the schedule and when the team would be available to complete the work. They arrived around 7:30am, brought extra people and worked late to complete the full roof replacement in one day due to rain that was forecasted for overnight. This included ripping off all of the old shingles and tar paper, repairing some damaged sheathing, replacing all of the drip edge, tar paper, ice guard, and new architectual shingles. During the installation, the team accidentally dented one piece of the fascia and Jesse replaced it at no cost immediately. "P. J. McTavish & Co. from Burtonsville, MD was hired to replace and repair a very old damaged roof on my Rancher Home, which has a few additions in the rear. These additions have many peaks, valleys and an area of flat roof. We had many other companies look at it and some didn’t even want to take on the job, and if they did it was for a price I could not afford. I had officially given up hope. "It went great. They texted to let us know that they had fallen behind and would be a little late which I really appreciated. Then, when they arrived, they inspected the chimney and stated that it didn't need to be cleaned and only charged us for the inspection. They also let us know that the brick on the chimney needed some repair and they'd be happy to come back and do the work for us. I will be calling them again to do those repairs. I highly recommend."
