First Response Chimney Sweeps & Services LLC

I called them for an inspection of my chimney since there is a leak found by my gutter cleaning guy who went in my attic and took photos. First Response said it would be $199 for the inspection and they couldn't do it for another month. I asked about the different levels of inspection and they passed me to the owner who sounded annoyed, and said that they only do level 2 which is going on the roof. He couldn't get my name right when taking my info and then passed me back to the receptionist without saying anything. She finished taking my info and I asked if they would go in my attic to see the leak and they said they only would if it was safe, and I asked to define safe since that could mean they don't want to walk on rafters. Since they definitely need to go there to see the leak I wanted clarification and they just repeated they would only go if it was safe. Then I asked how much experience the inspector they will send has since they are currently hiring on their website and they said they are all trained and then said they didn't want to work with me. If you go on the Facebook page you will see these folks are very young and have a thing or two to learn about customer service, especially for a company with only 2 reviews online and zero Angi reviews. My field is procurement and so I know what questions to ask before hiring a company. I immediately called another company found here on Angi with many 5 star reviews and they are charging only $125 and said they will walk on rafters in the roof. And can do it next week. Yaay!
