I received quotes from 2 contractors to install the window, and while Clifton charged more, I got more. Chris put me at ease from the very beginning about the install and possible water problems; it was obvious that this wasn't Chris' first install. He spent time with me going over all my questions and explaining in detail the project and how it would be done. He recommended some additional work involving drainage and landscaping and spelled out the pros and cons for each. He covered everything and when I got his proposal, it was all spelled out with options noted and additional costs. I got to pick what additions I wanted and how it would impact the cost of the contract. His crew showed up on time each day and worked hard from beginning to end. They kept me informed each step of the way and took care to keep the work area clean and safe. I was super impressed with their attitudes and friendliness. And most of all, I was super impressed with the professionalism of their work; the project totally exceeded my expectations. My wife spent 10 minutes talking to them, they stated they had no business cards, they only had an appointment card but didn't present it. Honestly when you show up at someone's house you need some sort of identifier if your walking door to door in casual clothes.
