"I used them back in 2015 and was impressed with them. So I decided to use them again. I was quoted an hours worth of work. Then, when it came to the final bill, was charged for two hours worth of work, and this was with 2 men working the job. They were just replacing 3 pendant lights and 1 dining room light. So I was surprised and disappointed that it took that long. More importantly, one of the workers said something inappropriate to me. It made me feel very uncomfortable and afraid. So I called the owner to tell him what happened. He said he would speak to him. I felt like the owner could have taken me more seriously, been more sympathetic and apologetic about it. He made it sound like he was almost defending him. *** Update on this: The owner did speak with his crew member and said there was a misunderstanding of what he said and apologized for it. "We hired Dennis and his team to install 5 ceiling fans in our home. A Plus Electric was the only company out of 4 to come to our house and look at the rooms. The price quoted by Dennis was very reasonable and they were able to accommodate installation on a Saturday. Their pricing was half of what one company quoted me for the same job. "The experience went well right until I was quoted a price for ceiling fan installation.  Customer service reps and the electrician were polite and professional.  Electrician showed up during service window, and customer service called me a half hour before his arrival.  However, I was incredibly surprised when the electrician told me the installation of the ceiling fan*** would cost just short of $700.  He said he may be able to do it for ~$670, but that'd be the lowest he could go.  I passed.

***Ceiling fan in a room where there was no existing ceiling fan, light fixture, wiring.  Light switch existed in room, connected to a wall outlet.  

The reason I was so surprised was because (2 years prior) I had hired this company to do the exact same job in an adjacent room.  During that job, there was additional electrical work done in another room at the same time.  The charge at the time was considerably less. 

Further, I provided all details about the service over the phone on more than one occasion. The electrician quoted the price of installation off a price sheet.  Instead of me being given an estimate over the phone, I took a half day off from work just to pass on a much higher price than what I had paid for the same work on another occasion.  In the future, I will look for another company for any electrical services.
