He left to buy new one at Fluvanna Ace Hardware, Returned promptly, and installed new one. Duration of service about 1 1/2 hours (including trip to Ace!) All Local-- NICE--especially during this pandemic!! Supporting local businesses-- YES!! "Classic Granite and Marble provided excellent service during the installation of our Snowfall Granite Countertop, sink and garbage disposal. Andrew Boone, the Outside Sales Consultant and project manager executed with high quality and excellence. He coordinated and scheduled the template measurement team which included Brandon and Duke who both provided excellent advice on how the install would happen. The installation team led by Giovanni was outstanding. Giovanni insure our granite was handle with white glove care while placing the countertops in the proper position. Gus was the plumber who completed the final installation of the faucet and garbage disposal. Gus executed over and above by texting me the day before installation to ensure all materials was onsite prior to his arrival. I highly recommend Classic Granite and Marble. "Sean Wright was always professional, prompt, courteous, friendly, and very helpful. I was not sure of some things I wanted to do and Sean made suggestions of various options I had not thought of, then talked through the pros and cons of each idea until I came up with a decision of what would work best for me and what I wanted to accomplish. This was invaluable in helping me manage the costs. The work he and his team did was excellent quality and they cleaned up every day before they left, and made it as easy as possible for me to live in the house while it was being renovated/remodeled.

The subcontractors were also good for the most part. The plumber and HVAC people were competent and completed their work in a timely manner and the pricing was reasonable. The cabinet maker was excellent. He built custom kitchen and bathroom cabinets to my design and measurements and installed them for less than half what Lowes had quoted for similar cabinets and they look great.

The electrical contractor, Kennedy Electric did good work but the price was twice what I had expected and took months longer than it should have.

I would not hesitate to recommend SLW for any size construction or remodeling job. I will be contacting them again later in the summer for some work on the exterior of the house.

"Great! He arrived on time, with the right amount of crew, tools and positive attitude! He was very experienced with Ikea cabinets and knew when we had purchased the wrong items. He also knew when to send me back to Ikea for different parts. Ikea made alot of mistakes and he knew that was common. He wrote down the numbers of the items i needed which was extremely helpful. He and his crew were fantastic and i would hire him again in the future. His prices were very reasonable and i appreciated that. I had two glass doors that were on back order so he said i could hold back $200 from his pay until they czme in. I called him on Sunday and told him i just picked them up. He told me they would be there on Monday morning to finish the job. Of course he arrived on time and he finished the job quickly. Of the 4 companies i hired to do various things in my kitchen his was the only one i didnt have issues with. I asked him to install the lights inside and underneath the cabinets and install the microwave. The lights were difficult but he worked hard until they were done. They make the whole kitchen shine! He was extremely reasonable with the microwave installation price. I asked him for several cards and already passed them out to people that wanted a new kitchen i told them he is the best installer i ever hired. He made this overwhelming project so much easier."
