"Jeff and his crew arrived on time. Jeff quickly assessed the job and gave me an estimate. This was a very small job and more cosmetic than structural. They repaired 2 bricks and motor that had fallen out under the threshold of the back door. I was very pleased with their work and the end result. Jeff and crew were professional and pleasant. As promised, Carmine called when he was 45 minutes away from our house so I had plenty of time to leave work and meet him.  He was friendly and extremely professional, even asking my permission before entering the house. He even asked me if he could call me "Steve", or would I prefer Mr. Carr. He and his worker Bill were clean and dressed nicely. They spread a blanket in front of the fireplace and cleaned up when they finished. They noticed a water stain on our living room ceiling and offered to check the flashing on the roof. They found a three inch hole and fixed it immediately, provided us with a 7 year warranty. Colonial was half the price of the other Chimney sweeps on Angie's List and it's hard for me to imagine anyone providing better service.

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

"It went very well. My old clothes dryer (bought it used 12 years ago) was acting up and frequently not starting at all. I asked Baker's to try to diagnose it over the phone and give me an idea whether  it would be worth it to repair. A technician called me back within the hour, listened to my description of what was going on, asked me some questions and told me what was wrong with it and that I'd be better off buying a new one. I appreciated their fast, courteous, professional, honest response, all free of charge!

"Fernando came by to provide an estimate within a day of the request and completed the job within a week. The work they did removing and replacing the cracked mortar joints was excellent. They completely removed the mortar between the bricks as opposed to just cutting a small area of the mortar out before replacing it with new mortar. The new mortar is much whiter than the old mortar but hopefully the repair will be less noticeable after cleaning the old mortar and exposure of the new mortar to the elements."

"Joe and his team were a pleasure to work with.  
We had kind of an unusual project, but they jumped right in and handled it beautifully.  The project was set back by problems on the supply end (not the fault of Brick Solutions, but rather of Lowe's, who sold us a broken window) and Joe took it in stride.  He just moved us around in his schedule and everything worked.  (We were able to be somewhat flexible, which helped.)
When problems came up (again, with Lowe's), he returned text messages within minutes and gave me the confidence to move ahead in his absence.  
As the project progressed, we asked Joe to do other related tasks (like our steps and eaves), which he was happy to do at a very fair price.
The only drawback was that Joe & Co. don't  do any interior work, so we had to hire other contractors to finish this rather large project.  Not a big deal, but we would've been perfectly happy to hire Brick Solutions to do everything!

"I found Sky Home Improvements through Angie's List, and gave them a call.  They returned my call the next day and were prompt in getting to my home to assess the problem and give me an estimate. Dan went up on the roof and took pictures that he showed me to help me understand what was causing the roof to leak and what needed to be done to fix it.  Along with the estimate, Dan gave me a folder which contained Job References, copy of his Contracting License, and a copy of Certificate of Liability Insurance. The following day Dan and Chuck were back and fixed the roof.  They arrived on time, and after they finished the repair, took time to explain again what was done.  Dan and Chuck were extremely polite, professional, and knowledgeable. I will definitely call on their expertise for any roofing work that needs to be done in the future."

Initially, he seemed like he was very very knowledgeable, very friendly and gave us thoughts that he knew what he was doing. They arrived on time. They're very good. The crew was pretty quick and efficient. One problem I had was they didn't come with enough materials. They had to reschedule for a completion of some. There were some minor issues that we ran into. They were supposed to paint the chimney cap and never actually did that. It's not a big deal but the other thing was the warranty and we kind of had a fight with them for the warranty to actually be processed. The warranty was the big thing and it was a lifetime warranty and I guess there were personal things that came up. It was just basically what I've learned late, but it took us probably eight months to get the warranty to be processed. That was my biggest concern, but the warranty company ensures me that everything is good even though the paperwork has the wrong number on there and I am assuming that's because they had the wrong number initially which is why they didn't have enough material.

"Ronnie was very thorough looking at the chimneys and analyzing our needs to give us an accurate quote. He thoroughly talked through the quotes and allowed me to ask many questions. When he came to do the job, he brought a helper (Big John). The two guys completed the job in a few hours, stacked the excess bricks nicely, and cleaned up after themselves. When doing the chimney sweeping, Ronnie laid out large cloth tarps to catch any falling ash/dust/debris and used a highly sealed vacuum to clean up inside our house when he was done. He even attached fans to the top of the chimneys to draw a lot of the ash/dust up out of the chimney instead of letting it fall into our living room. I was dreading having our chimneys cleaned expecting it to be a huge dirty mess. Instead, Ronnie and John worked quickly and kept things nice and clean.
As an added bonus, both men nicely talked to my four year old son who wanted to know EVERYTHING that they were doing."
