Prior to installation of downspouts the crew discussed placement and color options with me and explained their planned approach for the underground piping. I was very impressed that installers would take the time and show the concern to engage with the home owner at the time of installation to verify that the placement and color were satisfactory. After the gutter installation a heavy rainstorm tested the system and resulted in a few minor leaks that the contractor promptly resolved. All ground work was leveled and shrubbery returned to the flower beds. I scheduled an appointment for LUX to give me a quote on what it would take to resolve my basement flooding. Keagan arrived at the scheduled time and I described the flooding issue. It would require replacing the basement stairwell drain, sump pump and connecting pipe. We also discussed putting french drain and a larger pad at the top of the stairs to close a gap between the foundation and stairs that allowed water to channel into the stairwell. Keagan was upfront about how and when the job would be scheduled. I was contacted when the job was initially scheduled and kept informed on any changes as the start date.
