"We're very happy with the work done by The Contractors Inc. Our kitchen cabinet doors had been painted as part of a previous remodeling, but the cabinet door paint cracked due to the uneven expansion/contraction of the wood pieces. We had 3 companies give us estimates for replacing the doors and the fair (though not cheap) price and attitude of the folks from The Contractors made it an easy choice. It took about 10 weeks for the cabinet doors to arrive after they took the measurements and placed our order. This was slightly longer than the estimated 8 weeks but it was also during the COVID-19 lockdown period. Jeremiah and Amy did the installation. They did an outstanding job on the installation. They installed the 18 doors in about 4 hours. There was one door that wouldn't properly close, but Jeremiah must have made about a dozen adjustments to finally get it right. The new doors look great and the paint match to the cabinets was perfect. I highly recommend The Contractors Inc!!!"

"We hired Kitchen Savers to help remodel our kitchen. After a few delays due to COVID-19, work got under way June 1st. Hasan the installer was awesome. He spent 5 days in a row with us doing demolition, resurfacing the cabinets, installing the new oven/microwave, crown molding, etc. Kitchen Savers was very professional and nicely orchestrated their subcontractors (Rock Tops for the countertops, electrician for the under cabinet lighting, plumber to install the sink and garbage disposal, etc.). We are very pleased with the workmanship and the final outcome. Even when we had an issue with one of the cabinet doors a few weeks later, Kitchen Savers sent out a workman to rehang the door with a double hinge and solved the issue free of charge. The only negative comment is that while Kitchen Savers works with subcontractors for certain things (i.e. countertops, etc.), that is where things end. So you have new cabinets and new countertops, but no backsplash. That's kind of crazy. If you want a backsplash or wall tile between the countertops and cabinets, you are on your own to fine another contractor. Likewise for flooring. This caused some issues as our floor contractor wanted to demo the floor before the cabinet work was done and we had to do a bit of juggling. It would have been nice to have one main contractor who organized and scheduled all the subs."

"Contacted Furniture Medic via email including pictures of the damage to the painted finish cabinet top.  An appointment was made in short order.  Eric was a little delayed arriving on time that day, but contacted me TWICE at each half hour to report his status - so I was not left hanging or waiting without knowledge of his whereabouts.  When Eric arrived he quickly ascertained the status of the damage and his course of repair action and quickly got to work.  He did a really great job of making the repair which included painting and distressing the damaged area to match the distressed finish of the piece.  Prior to the work being done, I had serious reservations about how anyone would go about making an acceptable repair due to the type of finish on the cabinet and the complexity of working with a painted and distressed finish.  Well, I will tell you I was VERY pleased with the result and will not hesitate to call Furniture Medic again should I ever need any repair work done to my furniture or cabinetry.  Furniture Medic by Karen was yet another great find on Angie's List!
