"Everything was great from start to end. Jeanette and Brayden were easy to talk to and straight to the point, they both made sure everything was to satisfaction and met my needs. Overall great service and I would definitely be looking forward to doing business again in the future for other projects. Communication was awesome !"

"I was very pleased with the work and how the job turned out. I went to different places looking for the exact color scheme I wanted to match my cabinets. When measuring my kitchen the owner said he had the exact piece for me. I trusted his judgement ( tho I was nervous). The countertops were just right! After being in my house for over a year I am happier now than ever with my purchase. The guys that installed them were nice also."

"I have a small condo and had my kitchen cabinets and lighting upgraded, replaced lower cabinets with drawers, and installed a new quartz countertop. The outcome is terrific! Hassan was my cabinet installer and he was excellent. He and a young man he was training, Terique, were both very professional and polite. They were always on time, kept the work area clean, and always cleaned up nicely at the end of the day. Hassan truly takes pride in his work and believes in doing it right! Highly recommend Kitchen Savers. Quality product, installation, and service."

"Dan is such a wonderful person to work with! He replied promptly to all requests and questions and was so wonderful to our skittish dog. He sanded down my old painted cabinets and made them look brand new. We live in a home built in the 1930's and the plaster in the kitchen needed lots of repair. I cannot find a flaw in plaster! I highly recommend Dan for anyone who wants a thorough and meticulously completed job. Dan is the nicest person to work with and it was a pleasure working with him as we improved the look of our old home."

"From day 1, they were extremely responsive and professional. The started building the cabinets when they said they would and had them finished ahead of schedule. The work was excellent quality and install was great and quick. They allowed me to keep my existing cabinets and expand the kitchen instead of having to do a total gut job. While the cabinets are not super cheap - you get what you pay for! Well worth every penny. The painter they recommended did a great job."

"Wonderful. They protected the plantings around the house and cleaned up very well. They hand nailed and drew lines up the side to make certain the spacing was correct. Did not remove the roof over the garage so it stayed protected until the second day when the job could be completed.

Pre Made Cabinets questions, answered by experts

While having an assistant to help ensure safety and to lend a hand is desirable, if someone isn't around to assist, you can install kitchen cabinets on your own. Normal kitchen cabinet installation starts with the upper wall cabinets. If you're working on your own, consider installing the bases first and building a temporary support structure on top of them to help you install the uppers.

If you’re brave enough to tackle building your own cabinet bases, you’re brave enough to install them yourself. You’ll need a stud finder to get you started, but the installation will be a breeze if you’ve already done all the hard work to build the cabinet bases yourself. If you’re hanging upper cabinets, you’ll need a helper, though, to balance the weight of the cabinets and make the process easier.

If you have a drawer larger than 30 inches, you should consider adding two pulls, but, again, this decision is up to personal preference. Any pro you work with on cabinet installation can help you determine how many pulls you need and where you should place them.

The cost to install a kitchen island can range from $900 to $6,500, with an average price of around $4,800 for most homeowners. The final cost depends on whether you choose a prefabricated or custom-built option. It is generally cheaper to buy a prefabricated island than to build one from scratch. A budget-friendly prefabricated cart can cost between $150 and $900, while a permanent prefabricated stationary island costs from $900 to $5,000. Custom-built kitchen islands average $4,800 but can cost $10,000 or more, depending on factors like materials, size, design complexity, and accessibility.

Using a shim or another type of self-leveling feet on the bottom edge of your cabinet bases will help to level them out if you’re installing them on a less-than-level surface. To make this process easier, you can add your shims before attaching the bases to your cabinets while they’re still light and easy to move around.
