We like to try and help raise money to fund projects for the unfortunate. To help others get the repairs done with the help of others.

"Top notch work! These guys really want the customer to be happy with the job. I had 200 Amp Service installed plus a 50 Amp sub-panel on a new garage. Brad Basham came out to do the estimate and he was one step ahead of me the whole way knowing exactly what was needed for a quality job exceeding my expectations. He suggested a surge suppressor on the panel for my needs before I did after describing my requirements and use of the electric service. I wanted a particular sub-panel for a 50A RV hook-up and he understood why and went out of his way to get the proper equipment. The guys showed up and did a better job than I could. They would even ask for my input on multiple ways to run the service and sub-panel to make sure the customer was happy. Unbelievable top notch work from start to finish."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

No, fence posts aren’t always set in concrete. If you don’t want to use concrete footings for your posts, expanding foam is a popular alternative. Expanding foam and concrete each have certain pros and cons. For instance, foam is easier to install and more sustainable, but concrete is sturdier and less expensive.

Cedar is the most popular type of wood used for fencing, thanks to its natural durability and resistance to rot and insects. Pressure-treated pine and redwood are also widely used and are popular alternatives. All three of these materials are readily available at most hardware stores, which makes repairs and replacements easier over time. Their accessibility and long-lasting performance make them top choices for those looking to build or maintain a wood fence.

The most common height of a front yard fence is around 3 feet high, but it can vary depending on your zoning laws. If your fence is meant to create privacy, something closer to 6 feet or higher will do the trick. Most of the time, the highest fence you’ll see is 8 feet tall.

Routine checks and cleaning, rust prevention, and tightening of loose hardware preserve the fence's appearance and function.

Fences last between five and 30 years on average, depending on the material. Chain link fences are prone to rust, which can lower their lifespan. Vinyl and composite fences are more durable as they don’t rust and don’t need to be sealed like wooden fences do.
