Manny and the crew were awesome! Incredibly efficient and thorough. They made sure to protect walls, floors, doors, etc very well during the move. They handled the furniture well and made sure everything was setup exactly how we wanted it. The overall cost of the move was very affordable as well. Would highly recommend them and would use again!

This is our second move with My Guys (MG). They are the best!! While we were in NC we did a local move with another firm and it was a disaster. It really made us appreciate all the more what a great experience we had with MG. When it came time to move again, there was no question about who to call. Everything was well packed, handled with care, and arrived in perfect condition. The guys arrived on time, worked efficiently, and were super polite. Unpacking was the same. They put everything where we asked them to put it. We really can’t say enough good things about My Guys Moving.

This was the smoothest , well orchestrated move I have had. The 3 man crew was very well practised, efficient and quick, and very personable as well. They work together and handoff to each other so seamlessly — careful and very thorough as well as flexible when it comes to adding, slight changes in the overall move!

I recently hired My Guys Moving for a local move and could not have been more pleased with their services. Each of the three movers was well-trained, extremely careful, polite, and very professional. It was also great to work with Dan Mercure who provided very reasonable pricing and was able to schedule the move on short notice. I highly recommend My Guys Moving and will definitely hire them again!

Don't use!!' This is a scam!! After reading positive reviews, I called to request a quote to move from my 2 bedroom apartment that has a 5x11 storage. I was told by Tony Wilson that I would need 2 guys and the minimum would be 5 hours on a Saturday because we agreed to have everything packed and all furniture broken down. He gave me an estimated quote of $900 and said the movers would come between 8-9am. Sounded great! We held up our end and had all of the boxes stacked in the living room and all of the furniture was broken down. On our moving day, the movers called at 9:05am (late) to say they were coming. First, the movers came without masks when our county has a mask mandate and our building has signage that masks are required. So we had to give the two movers KN95 masks. When the movers finally came in, the first words out of his mouth was, "This is a 12 hour job!" We began to question how is this a 12 hour move when we were told we only needed 2 men and the five hour minimum. His response, "You have all these boxes and furniture plus the storage. Plus we have to walk down the hall and walking takes time." So, My Guys Moving sent the laziest movers they had. The mover then said, "He's laid by the hour and don't work for free." No one ever asked him to work for free, but to just work. My husband asked to speak with a manager and the mover said there wasn't one because it was a Saturday. Then mover then says, "We don't have to move you. You can cancel and get tour deposit back." We immediately accepted the offer because it seemed like this guy needed extra money and was trying to take advantage of us. They mover seemed shocked that we agreed to cancel then he said let me call someone. (Who was he calling because he just said there was no one to call?) The mover, who spoke with us in perfect English, made a phone call to someone and only spoke on Spanish. I called my daughter, who is bilingual, and asked her to translate the conversation. Basically, the mover was untruthful and communicated that we only wanted to pay for 5 hours and this was a lot of work. When he ended the phone call he told us it was cancelled and we asked about our deposit. He said he didn't know if we could get it back. That's when I told him that he was being recorded and I had a translator to translate his phone call. He literally walked out of the apartment and wouldn't say anything else. Here's the deal, the company allows the movers to dictate the cost to the customer and doesn't have a standard of excellence. We've moved before and each time, the movers came in and asked what needed to be moved and notify us near the end of the minimum required hours to make sure we want to continue. I'm filing a complaint with all regulatory compliance agencies because this company needs to be stopped.

They are really really good. It was an expeditious move, cost effectiveness, gave an accurate time, not just accurate but they finished the move early.

My Guys did a great job. Since it was a local move, we contracted for a 5 man crew to pack and move us. The move happened as scheduled over 2 days after one day of packing. They worked with us to move our bed and put it back together on the first move day, so we were able to stay in our new house right away. The guys were very careful and everything arrived with no breakage. That in itself is amazing, as we have a lot of "stuff", some of which is very heavy. We have moved many times, as I worked in the heavy construction industry, so we are used to things being lost and broken by movers. But not this time, so we were very pleased. My Guys was not the lowest bid we received but other online reviews convinced us to go with them and it was a great decision. Have seen reviews mentioning lack of English skills by some movers, but thankfully this was not a problem with this crew. One note on the price, we moved a lot of personal stuff ourselves prior to the packing day, as our new home was close enough for us to easily make trips back and forth. And My Guys gave us information on getting ready for packing out that helped us save money, as our ultimate cost came in significantly below the estimate.

I really hate to give this company a negative review because at first I thought they were very good. I liked the crew chief a27000nd his packers that pre-packed our basement so much that I asked for them back again to move our stuff into temporary storage and then again for the permanent interstate move 6 months later. But ultimately, my last experience with them left a very bad taste in my mouth as I felt overcharged and the company reps non-responsive. There were other issues as well. To begin, for the final move I was quoted 9655 (for actual weight) and the final cost was 11805, 22% higher. Unfortunately, our estimate had somehow gotten packed away and so I couldn't question it at the time of unloading. Once I found it 2 months later, I attempted to find out why the final price was so much higher. I first called the interstate coordinator, Michele, who said that my paper work had to be retrieved from storage and she would get back to me. She didn't and I continually had to call back. She eventually said it had to do with increased tariff fees. Unable to answer further questions about this she referred me to Terry, the original estimator. Communicating with Terry was difficult with my constantly having to leave messages and when reached, him promising to research the problem or get info and call back but rarely doing so. At the original estimate he had assured me that all fees were included, including any origin/destination charges that might be incurred and that there wouldn't be any surprises. However, on the final bill there was an additional charge of 1225 for an origin/destination fee. When I was able to talk with him he seemed surprised, concerned and puzzled by why his estimate was so much lower and why that additional charge was listed and said he would investigate. He ultimately said he would seek clarification from the owner and get back to me. After weeks had gone by I finally was able to reach him. He explained that his understanding was that since our move was delayed three months due to building delays, in the interim the tariff fees had increased. However, at no time was I informed that this might happen and then was never informed when it did happen. This is especially galling as I was paying the company 1300 a month in storage fees for those extra months and overall they were making a lot of money off of me. Terry seemed sympathetic and said he'd see what could be done but never contacted me again. Other issues were the company not supplying the proper manpower, resulting in 16 hour moves both into storage and on move-in day. It also wasn't apparent until we slowly unpacked, that one of the packers threw a lot of random unwrapped stuff, including electronic equipment, into large wardrobe boxes. We also received a box that wasn't ours and asked what to do but got no answer. Overall, I would recommend not using this company. If you do, do not believe their estimate!!

It went very smoothly. The two gentlemen were extremely professional and moved me without incident. They wrapped my belongings and were careful, thoughtful and considerate.

First of all, My Guys Moving has the best customer service I have ever experienced. It felt like I was at Chic-Fil-A for moving!!! We got three separate quotes from Angie's list; My Guys Moving was in the middle. The top quote was astronomically expensive, and the lowest quote was waaayy too low; you could tell they just wanted to come in at the lowest spot to get the job. MGM was also the ONLY company to actually come to our home and look at our furniture/boxes in person at no risk or obligation to us. Austin (who did our estimate) even suggested that we leave our dressers and chests full of clothes and they could still wrap and move them full of clothes, no problem! I scheduled our move with Renee, who was absolutely phenomenal. They did charge us a $350 overnight storage fee since we were moving out/in on separate days. On the day of our move in, the closing of our new home was unexpectedly rescheduled for later in the afternoon. I panicked. I called Renee immediately and she was super accommodating and was able to change our appointment to later in the afternoon, no problem and with no penalties. The crew was super professional and efficient, and exactly on time both days, even with the last minute rescheduling. They wrapped everything very carefully and nothing was broken or damaged. I would recommend them to anyone, and plan to use them again in the future.

Crew arrived early and got to work right away. They laid down protection on the floors. The only items that needed to be wrapped up was the dining room chairs and china cabinet. They did an very good job of wrapping up the items to protect them during the move. When we arrived at the storage unit, they had to rearrange the items already there to be able to fit everything in the 10 ft x 10 ft unit. The items already in the storage unit had taken half the space. The 2-man crew rearranged things so that it took up only a third of the space. By doing that they were able to fit everything in. The crew did an overall excellent job, and I would not hesitate to use the company again.

My Guys Moving did a great job on a move from the 15th floor to the 4th floor in the same building. They arrived right on time with all the people and supplies they needed to complete the job. They were very accommodating when I needed items repositioned or assembled. The ob was completed in about 2.5 hours, which made it very economical. I plan to use them again when I move to another state in 2019. I highly recommend My Guys Moving!

3-bedroom condo was moved with no problems. No breakage. Movers were prompt and courteous.

I never write reviews but in this case had to warn the public. My move with My Guys moving was one of the most miserable experiences of my life. The guys were very nice and worked hard but did not speak English. The one or two that did were not fluent. My negative review should not reflect on them but on the estimator, foremen and management. Unfortunately, when the leadership team is inadequate, the entire move falls apart. Specifics: Even though I provided the guys with room labels most of the boxes were mislabeled. Most of the boxes were only partially filled, resulting in longer move and more boxes. This, of course, increased my tab. The Foreman spoke little English and was terribly disorganized taking guys off one room and moving them to another. Because of this much was missed and I kept finding half completed rooms. Instead of taking 1 1/2 days per estimate the move took 3 full 12 hour days days. The estimate was highly inaccurate, roughly 1/3 of the final cost of the move. They ran out of boxes both days and were carrying stuff out in plastic grocery bags. In the new house boxes were stacked haphazardly, taking up much more space than necessary and creating obstacles to traffic flow. Items were not placed in rooms according to room labels or floor plan. I actually found 2 fur coats and an antique oil painting in the garage (in the heat of the summer) a month later. Nine months later I am still unpacking. I can’t prioritize my unpacking because nothing is labeled correctly. Everyday brings a new surprise because I have no idea what is in the box I am preparing to unpack. It was complete disaster. Hire these guys at your own peril. I wouldn’t have them move me in if they were to do it for free.

Great - it was snowing lightly that day which made the job a little more trick for the movers but they packed everything up very nicely and got it done in the time budgeted. Very hard working and great effort - would hire again.

Did not occur. They stated they do not do long distance moves. Clearly a misleading AL add. And in top position of movers. Deceptive.

The move went very smoothly. They guys came and moved the things from the house on day 1 and stored them in the truck overnight. The next day at the agreed upon time they arrived at the house and unloaded the trucks and moved things to the appropriate places. On day 3 they arrived at the storage facility to pack up the storage unit and deliver the contents to the new house. Everything went well with nothing damaged"

The crew were very helpful and professional. It was a pleasure working with all of them.

We had a very stressful and frustrating moving experience with "My guys moving & storage" and have patiently waited until now to post the review to give the company the opportunity to show some professionalism in addressing the issues and damages to our furniture resulting from the move. Unfortunately, the whole experience has been very disappointing. The detailed moving schedule was confirmed with the operation personnel at the company multiple times during the months leading up to the scheduled move. The confirmed plan clearly stated that the crew were to pack, wrap, and inventory everything on Day 1 and have everything ready to load the next morning (Day 2) so that there would be sufficient time for the crew to pick up additional stuff at a storage unit on the way to the destination and deliver everything on time. To accommodate this plan, we booked a hotel room for the packing day to make sure that the crew could pack/box everything and stay in the apartment as late as they needed to finish all the packing on Day 1. However, not only did the crew leave for the day with incomplete packing/boxing, they didn't properly wrap any furniture at all because they forgot to bring the shrink wrap and some other packing materials to the site. The incomplete packing job caused a huge delay on Day 2's delivery plan, and therefore, the enormous frustration we ended up with: in view of the delay, we offered to accommodate rescheduling the delivery to the next day so that the crew didn't have to rush and unload in the dark. The crew insist on making the final delivery the same day but didn't reach the destination until 10:00pm. Then they rushed through the delivery... we saw smaller pieces of furniture tossed around and larger pieces of furniture got banged against the doors as they were trying to shove everything in as quickly as possible. Among many things that were damaged in the moving process, our expensive executive writing desk was severely damaged with parts missing. We later found out that a couple of the drawers from the desk were through into a box with gardening tools unwrapped ! We filed the complain with the company but process of working with the management turned out to be yet another unfortunate drag. The communication with the management team was difficult and the compensation for the damages caused by the move was inadequate. With all that said, there were a few people at My Guys who we dealt with that were indeed conscientious and helpful. We thank them for trying to overcome these issues, though their efforts were stymied by others in the company who lacked the same conscientious attitude.
