"Noah quickly unplugged the toilet, and cleaned out all the hair that was blocking the drain in my upstairs shower. I asked him to check the other showers also. He was a professional, fixed everything fast and efficient, and was very clean and tidy about his work. He was on another call when I contacted him, and he was at my house an hour later. He was reasonable in the cost of his service. I would hire him again."

"Fast, competitive quote. Fast, efficient installation and clean up. We ended up needing a service call for the new unit about a month after the installation, (on New Year's Eve!), due to what turned out to be a "blown fuse" after a power surge. The service tech responded within an hour and fixed the problem. Very grateful for the excellent response during one of the coldest spells of weather in Richmond in a long time. Fair price, great installation crew, and excellent response to a maintenance issue even after the sale and installation. Great Company to deal with."

"Ryan checked the well and found crack at 60 feet. Recommended I install larger filteration system, which will catch more sediment and mud and will flush itself once a week. Looking forward to having this done on Monday. After the rain, poor water pressure again."

"USA Pipe Repair was very expedient with my sewer line repair. They shared various repair options, pros and cons, and they installed the new sewer line once I agreed on the course of action. I highly recommend USA Pipe Repair!"

"The team from Tiger C Construction were professional and completed my French drain install quickly (they actually installed it on a holiday and didn’t charge me extra!). The job was completed just before a rain storm and the drain proved itself quickly. Hiring the Tiger C Construction will leave you happy with not only the work they complete for you but the workers as well."

"Very Professional, from the Salesman to the Office personnel. I was told there would be a foreman on the site to oversee work to be completed, there was none. When the install tech cut into my supply line, vice running a separate drain line as I was instructed would happen, instead of a supervisor or other responsible person, a second tech was sent to assist with the install. NOONE from the company reached out to me in reference to the mistake that was made and no compensations were offered. When I reached out to my sales rep, I was instructed the production team is handling it. That was it. The install tech resolved the issue (that he created) and was very apologetic and cleaned up everything before leaving for the day and made sure everything was back to normal and working. The first dehumidifier that was installed did not work. I had to wait another day for a second, new, dehumidifier to be installed. In the end, a one day install took 3 days (five if you include Sat and Sun) but everything is installed and working correctly, it appears. With the mistakes that were made, The company has a very good reputation and I would not judge just on one job, but things do happen. Everyone is very polite and professional and will answer questions if you ask. No one wants to deal with mistakes obviously. I would recommend, however. This company did the previous install on my house (prior to my purchase of it) and it is a very good quality install."

Storm Drain Installation questions, answered by experts

You can determine what size storm door you need by measuring for the storm door. Take the width at the top, middle, and bottom of either your front door or an existing storm door, then measure the height on the left, center, and right of the door. Buy a storm door that matches your measurements' smallest width and shortest height.

Depending on your design preferences, the storm door can match either the front door or the trim. If you want the storm door to blend into the frame, you can choose a storm door that matches your home’s trim. If you want to draw attention to the front door, choose a storm door that matches your front door.

Storm door panels are typically made from tempered or laminated glass, and each type has its benefits. Tempered glass goes through a special heating and cooling process, increasing its strength and durability. It’s known for its safety features—when it breaks, it shatters into small, relatively harmless pieces rather than sharp shards. Laminated glass is made by sandwiching a layer of plastic between two layers of glass. This interlayer holds the glass pieces together even when shattered, preventing them from scattering.

You can install a storm door on almost any door. Storm doors are designed to fit single exterior door frames. Whether a specific door fits into an existing frame depends on the frame's size and configuration. Patio and sliding doors are exceptions, as some aren’t designed to accommodate storm doors. A local door installer may be able to modify a frame to fit a storm door.

Most homeowners can expect to pay between $186 and $680, with the cost of installing storm doors averaging $432, including both materials and installation. Labor costs range from $75 to $400, depending on the complexity of the job; however, paying for a professional helps save you time and ensures proper installation. If you go the DIY route, you could spend anywhere from $250 to $1,000 for just the labor kit, which includes the door and hardware. You’ll also need to budget for tools, like a power drill and level, if you don’t already have them.
