"Jimmy Hines is the contractor from hell. He constantly brags about the quality of his work but his actual work is sup par to say the least. We hired him to do work on our rental property and it was a decision that we regretted shortly after hiring him. He did not start the work when he said he would and he did not notify us. When he did begin the work, he would become very augmentative whenever my husband questioned him about anything. Whenever we disagreed with something he suggested he would become very augmentative. When he finally completed the job, my husband and I met him at the property to do the walk through. My husband was very disappointed with the quality of his work and told him so. At this point he became extremely conformational with my husband trying to fight him and the police had to be called. I do not recommend hiring this contractor for any project. I wish I could give him less than a one star rating. Update: Reply to the service provider's response: Mr. Hines is a liar. We are not drug dealers nor slum lords. Anyone who has owned rental property knows that tenants will tear up your property. We deducted money from the total bill because of the terrible job that he did. We paid him for the work that he did because that was the agreement. We could have withheld his final payment but we are people of integrity unlike him. We had decided not to use him for the rest of the project due to his confrontational and combative nature. You don`t have to believe what we are saying, if you choose to hire him you will be greatly disappointed and that`s putting it mildly. He talks a good game so beware. "

He was always on time and cleaned up extremely well - both daily and at the conclusion of the project. Excellent communications. Was able to address several plumbing issues also. "Shalena was very pleasant and flexible when trying to coordinate the cleaning with the repairs that were needed in the house. She had requested travel expenses because of where the house was located even though it was stated in the request. She wanted those funds before she would leave her house. I sent her the travel funds May 7 in the evening. She told me she would be there by 4 am but at 8 am she contacted me and said due to the weather she hadn't left yet. She arrived about 1020 am on May 8. At 103 I received a text saying she was done and the remainder of the payment was due. I asked her for pictures as she said she would take before and after pictures. In the meantime I had an in home salesperson come to measure windows for my new home. Ms Page called several times demanding immediate payment. My husband had answered the phone and told her I was with someone and I'd call her when I was done. She was very unprofessional with my husband which triggered him. She did send photos and what I saw looked good. I promptly paid the balance when I finished with my salesperson. On May 9 we decided to come check out the drywall repairs we had done and the cleaning. Very disappointed with both but we'll stick with the cleaning. The gloves are not swept, mopped or vacuumed. The bathrooms were not cleaned. The baseboards and walls were not wiped down. Very disappointed. I've contacted Ms Page and she said I only paid for a basic cleaning not deep cleaning. My house was bigger than she thought even though I said it was a 2 story with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. I'm not sure what I paid gor but it sure wasn't for a house cleaning to make it presentable for potential buyers. I am cleaning what needs to be done myself now which I shouldn't have to do. Just glad we only moved 65 miles away so we could come back and check on it. I told her from the beginning that itI was embarrassed with the condition so the dirtiness should not have been a surprise. She could have asked more questions but she didn't. Very disappointed and I would not recommend her to anyone."
