They did a great job.

They did not finish the job, then threatened to sue me for not paying. They eventually came back to finish the installation, but it was done incorrectly by people who obviously had no formal training and did not care. After 7 visits they left me with a very messy-looking ventilation system. They left zip-tie ends, screws, and paper everywhere, they also left several pieces of tape stuck to my ladder that they used without asking. Absolutely do not hire them.

They deserve zero points. Please, do not get involved with this company. This is a nightmare waiting to trap you. I purchased a 2.5-ton gas package heat and a/c system from Macs supposedly brand new. Well they tried to install a used 2.0-ton system which is a fraud, cause they charged me for the 2.5 ton and the serial number on it traced back to this system is already installed, purchased and the warranty was already started in April. mind you, my purchase date was in November, 7 months later. I found out 3 days into the project start and removal of my old duct and system removal that the company could not complete the job as scheduled for a 3-day completion. The company salesperson gave instructions for my fence to be broken without asking me while delivering that used system that I rejected upon noticing it had drilled out holes in it and it was obviously previously installed. It had caulk and sealant around it showing it was hooked up and run before. The job was scheduled for 12/6/2021 to 12/8/2021. On 12/10/2021 my family was still without heat. Macs heating Management mentioned Nick White is the owner and is requesting / demanding that I allow them to install the used and wrong size system so he could order the real new system I should have received and said he would swap them out when the new one came. I spoke with the Management and declined to have that system installed, also I told Management I lost confidence in the companies ability to perform and deliver quality service and product and mentioned the time frame was in breach of what was agreed upon. The sales guy was this young boy named Braeden. He flat out lied to me to get my business, he mentioned 0% Apr for 18 months. they put a hard hit on my credit and said the special rate had just ended and offered me 17.9% Apr. I declined that but now I would have to put the sale on my credit card. This company tore holes in my new encapsulation vapor barrier and left various areas with my insulation knocked and torn down. I hired another hvac company and they also mentioned the system was used as we searched the serial numbers and they noticed the wrong pad and insulation were being used. Also, the little bit of ductwork done was wrapped horrible and undersized. It was determined that it made no sense at all where they wanted to install the package system and wanted to run a 30 feet gas line connection around my house or they wanted to cut out a section of my house without a city permit or inspection to install that way. I hired the other company and they did an awesome job. I told Macs to pick up their system and supplies multiple times even mentioning storage and disposal fees were applicable if not done. The management and salesperson became nasty, bitter, and belligerent with me hanging up the phone on several attempts to make arrangements. They picked up the package system and left supplies in my yard and under my house refusing to remove the items and sent me a court docket for court, they want to sue me for 7000.00 and no system and left abandoned supplies claiming it was installed. They refused to pay for my fence they broke and my encapsulation vapor barrier was torn open and it was only a year old. This company makes me feel deceived, watch out for Macs Heating and Cooling.

Great Company who came out exactly when scheduled and worked all day to do a perfect job, cleaning whole house vents. Very professional and thorough, couldn't have asked for a better job that what was performed. Beyond Satisfied!

They donâ t charge you for where you live, they charge you for the job. I have found out that most repair people go by how much your house is worth or the location you live. I did not feel that way with Macâ s Heating and Cooling. I definitely plan on hiring them again. Thank you for your honesty. Anita

Received the quote which was presented well and was under from the other companies. For my personal experience it was lack of communication. After I scheduled my appointment to have the work done I was not contacted at all prior to the scheduled work date. I had to call the company the week before to make sure they were still coming. So they were scheduled for Monday July 5th. They did not show up. I did not receive a call until late that afternoon around 4 pm stating that they were sorry for not making it and they would make it a 1-day job instead of a two-day job and also stated they would stay late to finish the job. Day 2 show up at 10 am (once again, no phone call to me on when they were coming) they did not stay late and the job was not completed. Day 3 I get a phone call in the morning stating that their company truck has broke down and would be at my house that afternoon. I specifically asked them to call me if they were not going to make it that afternoon. ( once again I did not receive a phone call and they did not show up that afternoon ). Day 4 they finish the project. Over all I am pleased with the work they did. My house blows cold with the new duct work. By far I can understand when things happen out of our control, but a simple thing as communicating with the customer is what I feel was lacking on this project.

These guys did a great job, they actually showed up on time, did the work quickly and cleaned up after themselves. They were also priced much lower than their competitors.

Macs was our 3rd estimate and were by far the best price. We had them replace our ductwork. The guy who inspected and gave the estimate was friendly, knowledgeable, AND on time! They did the work when they promised and for the price, they quoted. The crew was professional and did a great job! I will happily recommend Macs to anyone needing HVAC repair.

The owner came out to give me the estimate, did a great job explaining what would be done, and his team showed up when they said they would. So far weâ ve had 3 weeks of awesome new AC action without any issues.

Price quoted was 30% less than competitorsâ quotes. Install was great and unit runs beautifully. Highly recommended company. Best warranty too.
