We could not be happier with the service and the quality of the work from Valley Roofing.  Our home is 5000 Sf and 120' long.  It was an old country store for many years and had presented numerous challenges to say the least.  Lowell's thorough inspection and assessment of the job allowed him to recommend products that best fit our requirements for vinyl siding, gutters, decking, handrails and sun tunnels.  He explained the pros and cons of different products and advised us on what would work best.  Jeff and Joe the siding crew are perfectionists to say the least.  Their attention to detail, workmanship and ability to solve a multitude of challenges involving vinyl and metal trim on an old house that has 5 additions was outstanding.  The project managers and installation crews for the decking, handrails, gutters and sun tunnels were excellent. All the work was performed on time and crews always kept us up to date on progress.  The recommendations I received by all the crews throughout the job to give us the best job possible were always on the mark and resulted in a beautiful home.  As our home is on a main road we receive compliments all the time from people in town on how amazing the house looks and have had people knock on the door to ask us about the job and who did the work. Other contractors working on the house are very impressed with the work and ask "Who did this work?  It is excellent."  I tell them "Valley Roofing" and show them all the amazing work they did and the creativity they brought to the job to solve the challenges on this older home.  I highly recommend Valley Roofing.

My experience with Valley Roofing couldn’t have been better! When I was deciding which roofing company to use to repair storm damage, I wanted to make sure I selected a quality company that would stand behind their work. I researched the BBB website and looked at jobs Valley Roofing had completed in my neighborhood. While these two steps made me feel comfortable, the main reason I went with Valley was the people. Ben McDorman, my salesman, was extremely knowledgeable and confident, but was also patient and followed up promptly on all my questions and concerns. Bruce, my original project manager put me at ease from a technical and logistical perspective while laying out what to expect. Then Mike, my on-site project manager was amazing. As construction progressed, we had to make a few changes to satisfy the warranty requirements. With every change, not only was Mike thoughtful relative to the performance of my shingles but he was sensitive to maintain the curb appeal that was important to me. Additionally, in order to beat impending rain in the forecast, Mike rolled up his sleeves joining the crew for the better part of a day. Mike’s technical knowledge, work ethic and communication skills were phenomenal! I’ll certainly use Valley Roofing in the future and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to others! John Garber

This company is amazing from the presentation ,(Alan Martin), of the sales to the completed project! Workers were prompt, organized and cleaned thoroughly. They had great teamwork and kept us informed as the sunroom processed. Cannot say enough good about this operation. Always felt they knew what we wanted better that we did. John and his crew were so knowledgeable and cheerful workers. It was bittersweet when the job was completed. As they were pulling out of the driveway, they asked if there was anything else they could do for us. We are 100% satisfied and give them an A ++ start to finish job well done. We would highly recommend this company. Shawn Humes, project manager was always there for questions and concerns through text or email or phone calls from the start to the end. He even came to visit. 100% satisfied!!

Every thing went perfectly! Harlan and Ryan were not only professionally superior throughout the installation, but they were flexible and pleasant to work with. The quality of materials was much better than I expected and we plan to make the new glass-enclosed patio a daily fun place. I am very impressed with the professionalism of Valley Roofing and their employees - from Jerry M. who did the estimate, to Jerold I. who did the repairs and Heather in the office. All calls and emails were returned promptly. The work was done safely and with care. The whole project was easy, timely and properly executed. I was in commercial construction for 40 years and have extensive experience with subcontractors and vendors in this industry. Valley Roofing is an exceptional company.

Ryan Mutherspaw was extremely professional and talented. He went above and beyond duty to ensure the job was done to our liking. He cleaned up very well, even more than expected. He gave advice and ideas that were very helpful. He was especially courteous, kind, and professional. He did the job that should have had a team all by himself. Very satistfied.

Excellent company. From the sales associate, Lowell, to the crew, Henry and Raphael: everyone was very professional and respectful. Lowell explained what I needed and didn't try to sell me on work I didn't want. The crew did an excellent job installing the gutters and even removed and installed a small rain gutter and barrel to the shed at back of property. I will definitely hire Valley Roofing when it comes time for a new roof.

Alan, Sean, Ryan and the rest of their team did an excellent job with my room. Their attention to details and concern about quality and customer satisfaction were amazing. They worked with me very closely as we refined details throughout the course of the project. When they needed to use sub contractors, the caliber of their sub contractors was just as high as their own team members. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who was wanting to build a sun room (and based on the experience working with them, I have to believe that they should be highly recommended for the other services that they provide).

Valley Roofing folks from the direct service roofers, to the foreman, to the initial estimator were both professional and personable. They communicated with us about the timing and effects of the job accurately. The metal roof looks great and we look forward to years of leak free living.

Blake and his assistant - did a excellent ,detailed job ,very professional and neat . They are very friendly and listen to our concerns ,they will listen to their customers to make them happy with the work they do ! We definitely will hire them again if need be in the future . Very well! 1 day to complete. Took a while to finish trim work but weather didn't cooperate. They did a great job in cleaning up too. They were the more expensive bid, however they were very thorough in their bid and found other damage the other bidders didn't.

Scheduled sooner than expected, completed work to our satisfaction.

It took a few weeks for them to fit us in - they are busy - which is a good sign! On the scheduled date, they came on time, finished on time, and did a beautiful job, checking in with me to see that it was done to my satisfaction. When they were finished, they cleaned up and other than having freshly cleaned gutters, you couldn't tell they were here.

I am satisfied with the work, and I would hire Valley Roofing again. The price was fair and they did everything I asked and everything they said they would do. I cannot grade the quality of the work because I can only evaluate that after the work has been exposed to the weather for some time. I will know more after the winter. My only dissatisfaction came from some delays after the initial inspection/estimate visit. I sent some questions about the estimate and there were long delays (a few weeks) before my questions were cleared up. Aside from this minor issue, Valley Roofing was good to work with, and I if I need more roof work done I will call them first.

Expedient work...large dedicated crew.

Valley Roofing did a fantastic job on replacing my roof. Upon making my initial call to them for an estimate, they project estimator contacted me very quickly to set up an appointment. After coming out to talk with me to see what was needed, he came back with a well presented quote with all the information on what materials were going to be used, costs and warranties in a very timely manner. The entire process was explained to me in great detail. The project managers were in contact with me throughout the process and afterward. Their crew had my steep 12/12 pitch roof shingles off in one day and had the new shingles on and completed the following day. They did a wonderful job of cleaning up my yard of debris after each day of work. I would recommend them for any roofing need.

They contacted me right after I put our the RFP on Angie's List. Sent out a estimator who suggested that I only needed 4 downspouts and not the over sized gutters I requested. Arrived on time and did the install replacing only the wood that was rotten.

Valley Roofing puts quality first. They transformed our aging and uninteresting 90 year old farmhouse into a stunning residence that must be seen to be appreciated (drive by 40 E Weaver Av in Harrisonburg). They don't advertise themselves as exterior home designers but the decisions we made together (and Alan is very patient and thoughtful) resulted in an exterior that literally transformed our house into a home we are proud of. The work they did along with the materials and colors we chose together are very harmonious with the age of the house. Nothing looks added on. Their work is not cheap but they present excellent value: Our home is worth a lot more now than when they began their work. Highly recommended! Our friends are already working with them on a roofing project. Thanks!
