"It was difficult for me to describe what type of wire had been severed by a previous work crew -- who never bothered to tell me that they had cut a wire while they jack-hammered my back concrete deck -- so we agreed that when the electrician had another job in my area, he would stop by to assess my workscope. He did that on Friday -- fortunately I was here because I got no call in advance -- and he concluded that the work could be performed at that time. The wire was reconnected and tested to see if all of the electricity-consuming featured in the gazebo worked. Not all did, but that was the fault of the appliance, not the work performed by the electrician. I asked that, as an extra service, he tack up another electrical line so that I wouldn't sever it when I mowed along the edge and under my deck, and he did so cheerfully.
