"Chris’s team from Clifton Contracting was fantastic. I’d been searching for a company to install a basement egress window so we could have a legal basement bedroom. Chris was the third estimate I receive since the two other estimates I’d gotten from other companies seemed high, one other company had even quoted me $10k for a fiberglass egress tub. Chris’s quote was literally almost half that and it was for a stone egress…additionally he was very knowledgeable and clear regarding the pricing for not just the basic window egress but also a virtual a la cart list of pricing options I could add if I wanted. I went with stone/segmented wall options which ended up looking great. I also ended up having Chris’s team wire the basement bedroom to code (running wire and installing the outlets) in addition to wiring & adding an additional hardwired fire alarm to code. I was planning on doing that piece myself but given the pricing was pretty reasonable and he could knock it out at the same time and include it in the permit as a single project, it was an easy choice for me. Overall I’m very happy with the work and would definitely use them again."

"Fantastic experience with JS Jackson! They did 2 projects for us - window replacement (6 windows for a townhouse) and cut and install new kitchen window. The leads on each project were very knowledgeable and great at explaining the process, answering questions, and advising on the best products for quality, budget, design, and function. Workers were friendly and professional. The office staff is very responsive at handling scheduling, permits, invoices, etc. It’s been several months and the windows are clearly properly installed, well-sealed, no leakage, and outside framing looks flawless. "I had two old sliding glass doors where the wood around the glass was rotting. The needed to be replaced. I went to the Germantown Home Show and got three companies to come out and do an estimate. Presidential was easily the best choice of the three. The doors got ordered and a month or so later they arrived and were installed the next day. The crew from Presidential was professional and courteous. The door installation went quick and they cleaned up like they weren't even there. I am very pleased with my new doors."

They did everything right away, ordered the new glass pane, and replaced the glass within two days. This was not the first time that our glass pane cracked. This tends to happen during severe cold weather in winter. Last year, when it happened, we contacted a different glass repair company, and it took them over a week to replace it. This time, we decided to call Glass Smith, and we were very impressed with the professional work of the technician, and the overall friendliness and responsiveness of the manager.
