"I was very impressed with the whole experience with NV Waterproofing, from the estimate to the completion of the work. I had mold growing on a basement wall and a perpetual musty smell in the basement. Cristian came out to do the estimate. He did a full walk around outside the house and then did a thorough inspection of the basement. It was good to see that he used a moisture meter when doing the inspection. It's amazing that out of four companies that did estimates, NV Waterproofing and one other were the only ones to bring that tool. He looked at a waterproofing system that had been installed right before I moved in and explained what was wrong with it and then explained how it could be fixed. He was patient and explained everything. I appreciated that he did not put any pressure on us to sign anything before he left. After getting the estimate, I had questions and called the office t get answers. The office staff was great, answering what they could and forwarding the rest to Cristian who answered them promptly. "Lux foundation repair did a wonderful job at my home. I have 4 pipes coming into my home that had deteriorating seals around the pipe. The seals had deteriorated to the point that I had a large plastic box under the pipes so that after every rain I would collect the water that otherwise would have destroyed our finished basement. After small storms, I would collect a couple gallons, after very large storms, I would collect over 8 gallons of water in the box. I spoke to one contractor who suggested excavating the outside of the home. No small task since the pipes enter about 6’ below grade and it would have involved removing several established plants. I was surprised with the estimator from Lux informed me that they could solve the problem from inside the home. I was surprised that the estimator was very confident that he could not only fix the problem, but guarantee that it would fix the problem. The work team arrived on time, quickly did their work and left. When the next storm arrived, I checked the box….no water at all. Was it painless? Yes. Was it worth the money? Yes."
