"I highly recommend Stephen and his team at Capstone Remodeling! I interviewed 5 contractors, two of which were full design firms. Estimates ranged widely. Capstone was neither the highest, nor the lowest but they came highly recommended by several people in my area. (Found recommendations on Angie's List and NextDoor. Steve was the only one that sent in a detailed estimate that included a checklist of work to be performed and I was happy with his willingness to answer questions and flexible timing for starting the project (due to supply/delivery issues with materials). Once the project got started, I realized pretty quickly that I had made a great choice. Steve and his team were very professional. They showed up and left on time every day. They kept things clean and laid down tarps between the front door, garage, and the workspace. They even laid plastic over all of the furniture and drapery in the master bedroom to minimize the cleanup afterwards. The hall bath remodel was completed first and took just over two weeks from start to finish. No plumbing was moved, but the entire bathroom was gutted and rebuilt. The craftsmanship was fantastic. The master bath was started immediately after the hall bath and was finished in just three weeks! It was also completely gutted and rebuilt from scratch; the toilet was shifted over and the bathtub drain was moved too. Throughout the entire process Steve made a point to communicate progress and to ask me about my preference whenever there was a question of finishes (e.g. height of towel bar, or size of niche). The craftsmanship of the work is top-notch and I'm so thrilled to have gotten a reasonable, responsible contractor. I've already recommended him to a couple of other people in my neighborhood and plan to hire his company again for my next project."

"Thomas M was an excellent technician and did great work fixing all the basement windows around the house. These windows are difficult to find a replacement but he was able to repair and repaint them. The other technician was Pablo He worked on caulking all the windows around the house and he did some filling work on the garage sliding doors You did a good job, but Pablo left his trash around and didn’t pick up after himself so Thomas M and I did that on the third day. It took three days total, but it was two men for two days and one man for a 3/4 of a day actually. Although I’ll probably get charged for a full day, since it went past noon. The labor portion is the most expensive and a little higher than I initially anticipated. So, I was hoping for a quicker turnaround, but overall quality work was completed. I would highly recommend Thomas M as a technician to do future work. He’s very knowledgeable, friendly and does a great job. I would hire again but include more details in the contract language."

"I had them do a large master bathroom, with everything replaced. They tore up all the tile, including the tile around the soaking tub (it was tiled around the lip of the tub, so elevated). The home builder installed the base cabinets before floor tiling was done, so that part of the floor (as well as the tub area) had to get elevated to the same floor level height and had to have concrete poured to match. The floor had heating installed under the tile. I had the shower wall next to the cabinets cut down to open up the shower. Tiling was perfect throughout, including grout. The drywall installed was also perfect. We had large medicine cabinets installed (formerly, a large mirror), cherry base cabinets, granite, and vessel sinks. The shower glass and granite were installed by other companies. They painted the ceiling; I painted the walls and made the stained glass windows. Lighting, toilet, shower, tub and sink faucets were installed. I would definitely hire them again!"

"The work was originally scheduled for Friday; however, Mr. Vazquez texted me early that morning to let me know that he would not be arriving at 8:00 as scheduled due to the rain. He said he could come later that day or Monday or Tuesday of the next week. I return texted that later Friday or Monday would work for me. When he didn't show up on Friday, I assumed he'd come on Monday but I wasn't 100% sure. Of course, I could have followed up myself. However, no worries. Rigo showed up early Monday and got right to work. I am very pleased with his skills, work ethic, and sharp eye to go above and beyond. He started inside on the kitchen ceiling but moved back and forth between the inside work and outside work. Letting the ceiling applications dry, while he worked outside. Efficient! Rigo also noticed my (ahem) less than professional spackling work in the kitchen over some screws and chips in the wall. He went ahead and fixed those up too. So much nicer! Rigo also pointed out that the garage wood had rotted because no flashing had been installed at the top. He ASKED if I wanted him to add that and asked if I wanted wood or that wood-alike that doesn't rot. Seems like small potatoes but I've certainly had others who did work and did not give me any info or options. Much appreciated. After he'd completed the outside work, Rigo borrowed a broom to sweep up. The kitchen was also quite clean. Obviously, I still need to do a good sweep, but it is much cleaner than I'd anticipated.
All in all, a job well done. Add in the Angie's List discount and I even give them an A on pricing.  This is the 4th or 5th company I contacted to fix the garage trim and the first who showed up. I thought I was jinxed. I've begun my list for spring - interior cracks in the stairwell and the trim around the basement windows. I will be hiring Vazquez and Son again.

"We are thrilled with the home office/guest room that All Renovations just completed for us. They were the lowest of 3 quotes that we got and I know cheapest isn't always best, but they had just done the same project elsewhere in our neighborhood and were recommended. Once the permit was finally done they got started within the week and we're amazed at how quick it came together. The crew showed up when we were expecting them, were really pleasant, and always put in full days. The existing garage roof demo and plywood frame/new roof were done in 4 days! "Devin and his wonderful crew are in the process of doing all of the remodeling work listed above, but I am so impressed with them I wanted to get some of this down now. 
In mid-April/late May, I found evidence that there was a mouse in my house (ewww), and despite my best efforts, and hiring Orkin (I'll review them, too), I could never find/capture the darn thing. So, I decided I was going to hire a contractor to come "mouse-proof" my house, and while I was at it, I was going to create the kitchen/dining room, laundry room and bathroom I wanted. Just like we are taught, I selected 3 contractors to come and discuss the work I wanted done and to get estimates. One never showed, even though he made an appointment, one told me why I couldn't do the work I wanted done, and then there was Devin. 
From the first time I spoke with Devin (first in email, then on the phone, then in person), I knew we would work well together. He never told me I *couldn't* do any of the things I wanted done, but he gave me a realistic idea of how much it was going to cost me. Then, he did a walkthrough of the house, and not only did he help me put my ideas into a realistic framework, he went the extra mile and went into my crawl space and found some structural damage that had to be repaired before any of the remodeling could be done. He was honest with me about how much the work would cost, and he and the guys have already improved the feel of the whole house by repairing the support structure on the house. Before Devin and his crew got to work, the floor slanted in places, and now the floor is completely level. The one other contractor that came to look at the house (and told me my remodel ideas were wrong), didn't even look at the support beams or the crawl space. 
Once we had the price range set, he brought in a wonderful, patient, architect who drew up such good plans that I could actually visualize what my new space would look like, and then brought in an interior designer to help with the cabinets, appliances and look of the place. 
Devin and his crew have been working on the house for a couple weeks now, and every time I go to look at it (I did mention that they are re-doing the bathroom, right?) there is something new and wonderful to see. One of the best things about the work is that they are cleaning up as they go. In fact, they built a wall between where they are doing the major work and where I was still living in the house (until the bathroom got gone) so that no dust or debris was in the living areas of the house. And, once I moved out due to lack of "facilities", they taped off my rooms to keep the dust out while they installed the lighting and while they worked on the bathroom. 
The bottom line is, just based on the work that's been done so far, I would recommend Marvell Homes LLC to anyone who is looking to upgrade their home. 
I'll update this review (hopefully with pictures) when the work is done.

So, the work is done, and I love my house! Life got in the way, and I couldn't get to this update as quickly as I wanted to, but I couldn't *not* finish this review. 

The remodel came out better than I had ever hoped, and I *love* my new spaces! Devin and the guys turned my dinky little cramped house into a home I'm proud of. And he did it all within the budget he originally quoted me. Not only that, but he came back and fixed the one minor problem that cropped up after the job was done! Who *does* that these days? 

I was so pleased with the work Devin and the guys did on the public rooms of the house, I've already started saving to have them work their magic on the bedrooms, and I wouldn't even *think* of using another contractor for anything I need done."
