I was surprised when he told me that because of the make of lock in the doorknob, simply making a replacement key was not possible--I would need the lock replaced. I relied on his judgement in this matter, telling him to proceed. He had a replacement in his tool box, removed the previous unit and inserted the new lock in an efficient manner.
