"Dave, the man who did the work, was very knowledgeable regarding what needed to be done to correct the shower water leak problem. He removed some of the shower wall tiles and found water had damaged a small section of the water resistant drywall to which those ceramic tiles were attached. He replaced that damaged section with cement board and then attached new ceramic tiles. I had decided to also replace the shower door and Dave did that work. Dave also replaced a separate section of regular drywall adjacent to the shower door that was damaged. Dave also quickly replaced a damaged GFCI outlet. Dave has a pleasant personality. He always kept me well informed about what he was doing. He did a good job cleaning the work site after he finished."

"Terrific, we decided to go w/ Stoneberger because their sales representative spent time advising and guiding us through the options, the colors and styles of doors. She listened to what we thought we wanted and helped us find the right solution. No other sales rep we met with offered that customer service. She also followed up on time and was super easy to work with once we decided on specific doors. Installation also was on time, efficient and went very smoothly. We had one issue that arose b/c of the age of our house and Stoneberger addressed it quickly and beyond fairly. Highly recommend them."

"Install was easy. Up front cost was pretty low with Angie's List coupon. Monthly price is a little high compared to competing companies. Response time with alarms is excellent. I was advised to use glass break alarms within 10 ft of my first floor windows, which we installed correctly. I asked prior to installation if having one in the kitchen would cause false alarms due to dishes clanging, etc. I was told the glass break alarms are configured to a precise frequency that alarms with breaking glass. So, not a "no", but not really an answer. Well, every time we cook dinner, wash dishes or empty the dish washer, the kitchen glass break alarm gives a warning which would sound the alarm if it was set. This has caused us a number of false alarms while we've been away due to shifting bowls or plates in our drying rack. For the first several we've had to pay our police department $120 to check the house, and I was only notified after the first alarm that there was a cheaper option for a security company to drive by to check for a break in."

"Great company to deal with. Totally customer focused. My wife was not comfortable with me installing our security system myself, so internet based alarm companies were a no go. He listened to our needs and our concerns with our existing landline based security system (through Vector), and he designed an effective yet practical and affordable set up for our home. Their prices cannot be beat- trust me I did my homework. Larry came to install the new security system and he was also great to deal with. Knowledgeable and patient- he took his time to explain how the system worked and gave us his cell # in case we had any issues. Kudos to 1st Security USA! "Wires were a mess on one of our garage door sensors, which was the immediate problem, and he fixed that in no time flat. Then he turned to replacing the decrepit sensor on the other side, which was hanging by a thread, with a secure new one with good wire connections. Then he checked out the rest of the system and greased the tracks on the garage doors, so that instead of sounding like a train is passing through the house, you can barely notice them. All this in about a half hour or less.
