"Murphy Family Electric is an awesome company with very competent technicians and reasonable rates. They make the whole process pretty straightforward. I had used them to get my Tesla charger in 2018 (Cost: $799 including material). I was so impressed with their work that when I had a complex electrical job - installing a new 120v outlet requiring a new wire from the circuit breaker - I did not get any quotes but just booked them. That job was done very professionally as well (Cost: $949). Fast forward to Mar 2025, my tesla charger had problems with over heating and intermittent power loss. I called Murphy Family Electric and they sent a technician the same day who came and adjusted/cleaned the connections and spent 30 mins fixing the problem. And to my surprise the company did not even charge me anything for this. So on top of everything else you can add absolutely fantastic customer service to their list of attributes."

"Renewable Engineered Systems installed a solar power station for our home.  Lovely ground mount system.

"They were recommended by the people who built my home. It was contracted through my builder. I do not think I paid out of my pocket. The guy was very attentive. I am about to call him because I have a problem with one of the lights and he does not respond quickly when I do call him but he does usually respond. So far, it has been a warranty item but the first time I called him, one of the lights was out completely. He came and looked at it and I saw what he was doing. He claimed that it was not warranty work and I asked him why and he kind of hemmed and hawed and tried to charge me one hundred dollars. That was not acceptable so we negotiated down to eighty-five. I did not owe him that but that is neither here or there. The guy is a good guy. He is just big into sales. Whenever he comes out here, he wants to sell me something. At the end of the run on these lights, it still has one power source. At the end of the run, the lights started to give way and it turned out that the voltage was not sufficient at the end of the run. He elected to put in two LED lights at the end of it so as not to use incandescent lights; therefore less voltage so that solved the problem. Out of his own pocket, he did a slight upgrade himself."

"We are renting out our Yorktown home from afar (without a property manager) and our tenants noticed a problem with the front porch lights. Quantum Electric fixed the problem quickly and communicated with us by phone. All work was satisfactory and our tenants were pleased with the timeliness and professionalism... the cost seemed a bit excessive, but I did not ask about the service fee and charge per hour of labor when booking."

"He was honest, he said he could not do the job because he was not able to do electrical work."

"The technician, Mr. Evans, performed an excellent installation of my new fan. Additionally, he was delightfully affable and knowledgeable. I would love to hire him again in the future."
