Once the worker got here and set up, he said vents weren't included in the bid. The price doubled. He then pressured me to buy a ultraviolet light to kill germs (not verified by any research). I declined. I did get the spray that now ended up tripling the original bid. After they left and I had paid ( I felt compelled to) , I realized this was a 'switch and bait' scheme. I feel they were dishonest in the original bid. There was no ability to negotiate the difference on site. No manager is ever available. They have refused any concession to make this right. I would not recommend them to anyone based on dishonest bidding and am surprised Angi's gave them the rating they have. Beware to any future homeowners who need this service. Note: they operate under a series of names: Elite Home Services and SafeHouse."

"Needed my dryer vent cleaned. When Ned called I explained to him that I had two 90 degree angles. He assured me he had all the equipment needed to handle this job. When the two men arrived my husband showed them a picture of the two angles in the vent. One guy didn't speak english and walked away. Didn't even want to look at the picture. The other guy who spoke limited english just told us to call his boss. We told him his boss had already assured us they could do the job. Now for all the equipment they brought - a generator that they couldn't even get started. We have an outlet out back and told them to use it. They then just put a small hose in the vent which was blowing air. I was in the closet with the dryer and could hear the hose as it came in. It stopped at the first angle and couldn't bend to go any further. They then left. I was also told that they would bag up any lint that came out on the lawn. Big surprise - there wasn't any. My vent is still clogged."
