We would highly recommend Granite Vision (GV) for the kitchen countertop project. This past week, GV installed the counter top at our house. Following our first meeting with the owner, Roni, we came away impressed by his directness and knowledge of granites. We felt very confident about GV from the get go and without any second thoughts, contracted with GV. The crew consisted of Joseph (took the measurements), David and Johnny (installers) and Nevo (Plumber). We found them to be thorough professionals. They didn't take any short cuts in their respective jobs. As a result, the installation went smoothly. We particularly admired their efforts to ensure that the base was levelled before putting the granite slabs. "Architecture Stones were wonderful to work with. They helped us track down a very economical slab of quartzite that fit our space, and had a remnant in their yard, such that together the two pieces would cover our needs. This cut the price down and they were very helpful. They had software that allowed us to view an image of our slab + remnant with the counter footprint overlain, so that we could see how the veins of the quartzite would sit on the counters. We were able to make adjustments to the plan to get more of the veins and into view on the our island. Isaac Shon was really fun to work with and always in a great mood."

My wife and I wanted to replace 4 hard to clean kitchen counter tops with smooth soap stone.  Saw the Origins shop from the road and on a whim decided to stop in and check their selection and prices.  The office manager, Cheryl, answered all our questions and brought up issues we hadn't yet thought of (like what type of new sink did we want (undermount, drop in, dual mount, farmhouse, etc.) and the pros/cons of each).  She knows the business and gladly answered our questions throughout the process.

We stopped in the showroom in late November and had the counters installed about two to three weeks later.  We were also given the opportunity to select a particular slab of soap stone from their supplier in Maryland but opted not to.  We had the option to purchase a new sink/faucet from Origins but decided to buy them at Lowe's.  No particular reason for this.  I'm sure the Origins-provided sinks/faucets would have been fine.  Origins' counter top / installation prices were very competitive and was thousands less than the one other local provider we called.  

The measurement technician who came to our home, Grace, and project manager, Chris, were very professional.  Installation for the 4 tops took about 3 - 4 hours and the installers arrived on the early side of the delivery window.  Besides the tops they installed our undermount sink and created holes for the new faucet and soap dispenser.  Again, very professional service.

In my experience you can tell if a company is good to work with (or not) by their willingness to thoroughly and promptly answer a customer's questions.  Origins passed with flying colors and I would not hesitate to recommend them and use their services again.  Thank you!

"The work went wonderfully, and as scheduled. I contacted the company and I was able to get a very quick estimate for the work by emailing pictures of the bathroom to the owner, Mr. Valdez. He very quickly turned it around and provided me with an estimate on the same day. We scheduled the work and they arrived on time and as agreed, several days later. The young man who actually performed the work, Miguel, was very pleasant, professional, and polite, and did the work exactly as agreed. He was very careful to ensure that the bathroom was ventilated to eliminate as much of the chemical odor as possible and ensured that the bathroom was clean and in good shape when he was finished. The results are absolutely amazing. That old green bathroom tile, dingy tub and scratched countertop are gone and I have a wonderful new white bathroom with an updated look. I have two additional bathrooms that need work and will most certainly call Mr. Valdez at Virginia Bathtub Refinishing as soon as I'm ready to proceed with them. I recommend this company highly!
