"Received a call from Parrish Services. We spoke for almost 30 minutes on the phone plus using a video app I was able to stream to him my home heating system. Based on my situation and the current installed oil heating system I would be wasting money trying to change to a new electric system. UPDATE - They have reached out to me and are coming to my home on 1/8/15. I will update again after I meet with them.

UPDATE - 2/4/2015 - They did come to my home and provided an estimate and plan for lighting our back yard and deck. 6 lights were included in our original purchased deal. Their proposal was for the original 6 lights plus another $1500 worth of lighting. I like their plan but we weren't prepared to spend the additional money at this time. They came out yesterday and installed just the initial 6 lights. They arrived on time and the work they did is wonderful. Our deck is beautifully lit now and I am very happy. While this relationship got off to a rocky start, they made it right and we will hire them again when we're ready to finish the back yard lighting. Also - the deal was supposed to be for the front of the house - but that wasn't clear when I bought the deal - so they allowed us to use our 6 lights on the deck. I'm sure they want the front so that they can show off their work - and that makes sense to me - as their work is worth showing off. I would now highly recommend this company."

"He was not able to fix the light fixture, but he took it down so that I could take it to a lamp shop.  He changed the outlet, which didn't need to be fixed necessarily and placed the boxes in upside dow.  The dimming controls works opposite. When the light increases, the dim switch slides down instead of up. Simple things, that could have been done the correct way.

"Called because of lights going on and off, flickering etc. checked everything, figured it was a switch. Fixed it and because it was so fast, he looked at a bunch of other stuff in my home, electrical box, outlet check, looked in attic.

"We had some issues with arrival time and communication that were frustrating. He had someone call out which I understand can throw the day off but we were juggling work hours to be there and killed several hours waiting for arrival and communication (both the initial time and then the new updated time).  
Once they got there they were professional and installed two lights very quickly and with good quality.  They went above and beyond to hang one light at the right height given the out of the box parts didn't support the proper height.  
We had prepaid for 2 hours and they finished both jobs in 20 minutes (so 40 people minutes!).  I was kicking myself I hadn't had more things planned for them to do but never expected they would be so fast.
