"Fox Trail Electric provided us with excellent professional diagnostics and service. Our pool pump disconnect blew when we opened our pool, and we contacted three companies for repair estimates. Not only was Fox Trail the best estimate, Brendan and Moses very quickly found the source of the problems that the other two companies missed; this gave us immediate confidence in their capabilities. They arrived just before the appointment time for the repair and quickly got to work. They encountered and diagnosed a quirk with the pool equipment being wired from separate meter services (main house and outbuilding) and installed the correct GFCI breaker for the wiring to the pool heater, which our home warranty company failed to resolve. They installed a mounting post and weather-resistant timer and disconnect for the pool pump and organized and buried the previously messy, tangled, above-ground equipment ground wires that are no longer a tripping hazard. Brendan and Moses worked very well together and were very neat - nothing out of place when they left. Top-notch problem-solving, and we will be calling them again for other work. "We had a leak which damaged the ceiling and walls in two rooms. William returned our call promptly and provided a reasonable estimate. He was able to start right away. To sand and mud took 2 days' worth of work and painting the ceilings and rooms took 2 more. William and his crew showed up promptly and were never late. Roberto performed most of the work and he is very skilled. William showed up each day to check on the crew/work and update us on their status. William bought all the paint/supplies and performed all of the work with no deposit. The final bill was the same as his estimate--no hidden costs. We are very satisfied with the quality of the work, the reliability of the service and the price was very reasonable. We would use this service again!"

"The provider showed up on time and prepared.  There were some issues with the internal wiring of my house (1930s construction) that complicated installation.  He informed me of my two options -- one was to have the fan installed, but it could not be controlled by the wall switch, or the other was to rewire the wall switch and the wiring to the fan to allow the fan to be controlled by the wall switch -- at a substantial cost.  I liked that he was honest with my about my options rather than merely stating it would cost me extra to install the fan, given the age/condition of the wiring.

Each time, Robert and the crew arrived on time.   Once Robert made sure all the furniture was moved and covered to protect it, and the proper paint was on site, he left the crew to do the work.  The crew was very professional and good natured, filling in nail holes and repairing drywall before painting, and then putting everything back in place once finished.   Robert later came back to check the work, and on one occasion, sent one of the crew back to do some minor touch-ups.  I appreciated the willingness of Competitive Painters to work with me on scheduling since removing everything from the apartment was not possible, even though this would have made their job of painting much easier.  Robert also provided suggestions on paint colors, which were spot on.  I would not hesitate to recommend Competitive Painters.
