"R&R Pressure washing did a great job! Very professional and my home was thoroughly cleaned without any damage to surfaces. Additionally, Mr. Romano pointed out a couple of areas on our exterior that needed attention. Will hire again for next year!"

Customers say: Quick response

"Ben responded quickly to my initial inquiry, and was able to come out to give me an estimate in a timely way. He also was able to fit me into his busy schedule. Ben did a great job on the windows - inside and out AND high and low. He was very friendly and efficient. With the exception of my SPARKLING WINDOWS, I can't tell that he has been to the house. Ben is a responsibe, hard working young man! I would definately call on him to clean my windows again!"

"Douglas Air Duct Pro did an excellent job cleaning our air ducts. They were prompt, friendly, and very hard working. We have already referred them to a neighbor and plan to have them return when it is time to clean our dryer vent."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

You may become so frustrated with the look of moss on your roof that you contemplate whether to clean or replace your roof. Fortunately, you don’t have to go as far as replacing it. After cleaning the moss, you can use a chemical solution to keep it away. For further protection, trim branches that overhang the roof, as fallen seed pods and leaves on the roof allow moisture to collect, encouraging moss growth. Consider adding zinc-coated flashing to the roof, too. As rain washes across the zinc, it leaves zinc particles behind that inhibit moss growth.

Roof cleaning is typically necessary annually, although homes in moist or heavily polluted areas may require more frequent service to prevent buildup.

Yes, cleaning removes harmful elements that contribute to rot or degradation, extending the roof's lifespan and averting costly future repairs.

Roof raking helps clear snowfall from your roof and, in turn, you hope that this prevents ice dams. But can roof raking actually cause them? Generally, no, it cannot. But you should note that while, in some cases, you might successfully prevent ice dams from forming near the edge of your roof by keeping it cleared with a roof rake, they could still form higher up on the roof, where you are unable to reach. This may leave you wondering: Does roof raking prevent ice dams? While it is not a 100% guaranteed way to prevent them, it does help.

It may require stronger cleansers or chemicals, higher-pressure spray, or scrubbing to completely remove algae from a metal roof. Start with a mild cleanser; if that doesn’t work and you're comfortable doing so, use a stronger mix of ⅓ cup of laundry detergent, 1 quart of bleach, and 3 quarts of water to gently scrub the algae with a soft-bristled brush. If algae is present across large portions of your roof, doesn’t come off with gentle scrubbing and cleansers, or is in hard-to-reach areas, this may be a job better left to a pro.
