Grady is the only person (or company) who was willing to take on the job and drive all the way from Pennsylvania to our home in Northern Virginia. There are very few people who do this kind of work anymore (we really searched) and he is an expert in his field. "The overall experience was exceptional. Luis meet with my wife and I and did a walk thru of the property and provided us with an estimate within an hour of the walk-thru. I already had heard excellent things about his company from numerous co-workers who had FDC paint their home. "George and his crew did an outstanding job! They were prompt, courteous, professional and really seemed to enjoy their work. George came to meet with us to estimate the work and provided us a quote within 1 business day. From estimate to completion, the team completed the job in 5 business days.
After day 1 we didn't like one of the colors we had chosen after seeing it on the walls. We talked with George about it and he was very accommodating, and just wanted to make sure we would be happy with the final results. "I purchased their big deal for chimney inspection and cleaning ($99).  They contacted me promptly and we arranged for a date for the service.  They arrived on time and began the service quickly.  Both the office staff and the chimney sweeps were personable and professional.  Following the cleaning and inspection the senior tech recommended replacing the existing chimney crown and replacing some missing mortar between flue pipes.  I accepted their recommendation and estimate ($240, which included a $150 credit from the big deal) and we arranged a second visit 2 weeks later.  I was not able to be on-site for the visit, but it was not required.  They arrived and performed the repair work as scheduled.  I arrived home to find the work completed and the area cleaned up.  The crown looks a lot better now.  I discovered a masonry hammer someone had accidentally left behind and the company sent someone around to pick it up when I called.

"The estimate was provided promptly.  The workers showed up on time.  They performed the worked requested and completed it in just under the two days they stated they would.  As they finished up the rooms, I reviewed them.  There were only a few small areas that needed a little more attention.  These were quickly remedied and the end results were excellent.  Communication during the process was very good.
The only thing keeping me from giving them an A for quality is that they used a fairly cheap grade of paint, but I can't really fault them as I did not specify the grade of paint to be used except in the bathrooms, where they used the paint that I specified.
I would not hesitate to hire them in again.  They were the cheapest of the three estimates, but we will most likely use them when we paint the rest of the rooms in the house because they did a very good job.

"Lemus Contracting did a fine job on this project.  They appeared on time, finished on schedule and left their work areas neat and clean.  The dry wall patches were smooth and barely visible, easily concealed by a coat of paint.  The work around the basement doorway was tricky, since the area where additional insulation was needed was adjacent to wall studs and an electrical outlet.  This part of the project was handled with skill; they even stayed a half hour after the 3-hour slot we had purchased to finish installing the insulation and patch and to make sure the dry wall repairs were up to their standards.  We recommend them to anyone needing drywall work.
