Initial contact with Paul took 2 attempts, but once we got to speak Paul came out quickly to provide an estimte and then got a crew on the job within 3 days to coordinate with the company painting our house.

The quality of the work was superb.

We have an 82 year old stucco house that had never been painted and we agonized over the decision about whether to paint it or not. Over the years, owners had done a poor job of caulking and repairing cracks, and the recent earthquake produced some new cracks that needed attention. Finding a craftsman who is accustomed to dealing with old original stucco was tough but we were very pleased with the advice and the service from Paul Riggs. The power washing job on our house was outstanding, and while the process of finding and testing color samples of elastomeric paint took a long time, we got exactly what we wanted- old the old caulk was removed and replaced in the ancient cracks, the new ones were filled, and we matched the original color of our house so that it just looks refreshed and refined. As we were beginning the painting process, we also learned that the old mortar between the bricks that frame our windows was degrading, and leaks that we had attributed to the roof were actually the result of damaged mortar. Before they painted, Paul's crew drilled out and replaced the mortar in all our window sills, and the leaks are completely gone. It's been several months since the job was done, and we are completely pleased with the job and the value we received for the cost.

We had an EIFS inspection done and found a few rotted window sills that needed to be replaced, a few small damaged areas of stucco, and our caulk had to be completely redone. Worldgate Plaster gave us a really good quote for a lot of work. Mr. Riggs was willing to work with us to speed up the schedule, even though we were hit with a lot of unexpected snow. He sent out his crew anytime there was a small break in the weather to get the job done quickly and professionally. The crew did a great job and the work looks great.
When I talked to Mr. Riggs about a couple of spots that I thought needed to be touched up, he was extremely responsive and sent out his crew to resolve any issues I still had. Mr. Riggs is fast to respond to emails and phone calls, he comes out and checks up on the work, and is professional in all ways. I would use him again without any hesitation.

I was away when the work was done, but the finished product was excellent. The job was large (2 sides of our 1920's house). I don't know the cost because it was included in a bigger job. I highly recommend the work Worldgate did.

We had substantial repairs to our EIFS that required caulking and installation of weepholes, etc. We had a specific stucco inspector check the house before we bought it, so all Paul had to do was follow the report, which he did. He did an amazing job of turning a quick estimate around, which was essential because we had to use the estimate to request funds from the sellers before finalizing the deal on our house. It appeared that his crew did most of the work and Paul would stop by to check on it. We did have to ask them to come back once to do something on the report that they missed but they did and fixed it without any issues. They were actually the only EIFS repair people that got back to us, so they were great on being responsive and professional. The downside is that I don't really have any price comparisons, but I'd definitely recommend contacting them.

Although the results of the work on two neighboring homes appeared to be satisfactory, it concerned me that the Worldgate laborers functioned at second-story levels, often precariously, without the proper safety equipment.  Since my projects were at ground level, I requested two: a reconditioning of our neighborhood entrance sign and an estimate for the cleaning/repair of my home's stucco.
Completion of the sign was late, and only after several telephone calls.
The residential estimate - which was acknowledged twice by the owner - has apparently been ignored.  Weeks have passed without any follow-up.
If you need the stucco job completed on time, and an owner that keeps you informed, this is NOT the company.  Very unprofessional. I will find another stucco company.
Response from Worldgate Plaster & Stucco Co
"Im confused by [member name removed] comments. He contacted us in less than a year to bid on a large community sign, all stucco and block. The job was awarded to us and I spoke to [member name removed] many times. all he had was praise for our work and gladly paid us upon completion. What he complained about in the begging was never brought to my attention.....?????"

Paul was very friendly and up front.  The weather did not cooperate so the work took a little longer than anticipated, but overall, they matched the stucco perfectly, did a great job of repairs (I cannot tell where they made repairs, it matches so well), re-caulked, and cleaned up well after.  Their price was very reasonable, they did everything they said they would, and again, were very friendly.  I will ask Worldgate to do future repairs and maintenance as needed.
