"The contractor sent to my house was NOT a licensed electrician. I was told a free quote was 39.99, that turned to 59.99 when I got the estimate and it was waaaaaay over priced and then wanted me to pay a fee to get a warranty for their work! I would have expected a warranty on his work should have been given to me! I needed the job done right away, he was pleasant and courteous but never again with this company."

"I’ve been a loyal Snell customer for years, but this recent experience was deeply disappointing. After our AC failed in August, Snell diagnosed a leaking evaporator coil. We chose to replace the system through them, and the salesperson took time to evaluate the setup in advance. However, on installation day, the crew arrived without the correct ductwork and had to make adjustments on the fly. Unfortunately, the adjustments were poorly executed: • The Aprilaire humidifier was mounted on sloped ductwork rather than a level surface, contrary to manufacturer specifications. • The hole for the humidifier was cut inaccurately. • The drain line was left kinked in multiple places. Aprilaire support later confirmed the humidifier was not installed correctly and warned this could lead to water backing up into the system — a concern I had raised with the installers before they left. Despite multiple follow-up attempts, I received no meaningful response. I was told my concerns would be escalated, but no one followed through. This was a major investment, and I now feel I need to bring in another HVAC team to correct issues that should have been resolved from the start. I’ve recommended Snell in the past, but I can’t in good faith do so now after this experience."

The family owned business is impressive, as their son is ALREADY a JOURNEYMAN in both plumbing and I believe soon to be HVAC expert as well. "Worst service I’ve ever have experienced. They wanted to sell me the product, never told me that there was an early termination fee and another penalty for an initial offer they gave me. Had double charges every month, once for the oil they provided (which they never told me they were going to provide before coming. They just came without my knowledge and then I find a high amount bill) and another for an “automatic payment” for 500 that they never could explain. The didn’t even fix this issue and it kept happening every month even after I cancelled the service. Then having to call them is a hastié for the refund of the 500. Stay away of this company"

"Excellent customer service. Excellent finished product. West Shore Home came to install a shower in one bathroom and bathtub/shower in another bathroom. Their customer service is top tier! They took extra caution to ensure they didn’t damage or disrupt my home or other furniture as they carried their equipment in and out of the house. They encouraged me to see the progress as they worked. (Nothing to hide is always a good thing.) When I expressed surprise and disappointment with one aspect of the design, they immediately began solutioning the issue."

"The original project I hired them for was to replace leaky faucets in both the kitchen and bathroom. Frank, the owner, was responsive and professional. They scheduled the work promptly and showed up on time. Unexpected issues were discovered that required a second trip and additional work. They communicated everything clearly and the additional costs were handled separately and transparently. They also cleaned up after the work was done. I would hire them again."
