"LUX came out, gave us a proposal and fixed price and carefully spec'd out the work. They had a large hickory tree to work around and not damage; their workers were polite, hardworking, competent, and cleaned up daily. The project was finished within the time frames planned and within the affordable budget we'd set out. It was a difficult project due to the hillside they were working on, and the large old patio stones that had to be taken up carefully and then reset at the end of the project. We were VERY please with the planner, the foreman, the workers and the quality of the work overall. We would hire them again for foundation and stone work."

My finished project is a retaining wall (3 feet tall by 40 feet wide) and a patio (12x24 feet) with beautiful pavers on both. The landscaping around the wall and patio was just what I wanted with river rock and plants. He transplanted the young trees that I wanted to keep and helped me pick out plants for the rest of the project. I had not imagined including lighting, but Elijah suggested it, and the lighting is beautiful. I also had a walkway installed that matches the paver patio style. "Julio Escobar, President of ET General Contractor, responded with 24 hours to my initial query and arranged to visit my house within another day to discuss my plans. He listened carefully, and made excellent suggestions, including frank opinions of what was and was not possible and at what cost. He then gave me an estimate within a few days with pictures of the kind of stone retaining wall that he recommended. Once work started, it was completed within four days completely to my satisfaction. Julio himself was in regular contact with me and visited the site where his team was working at least twice each day, supervising all aspects of my work while at the same time attending to projects elsewhere. Changes and challenges that came up in the course of the project were incorporated easily. The final wall - a structure in two parts across the entire front of the house, and made of sculptured stone blocks embedded in a firm foundation - was very professionally done and looks beautiful. The three vegetable patches - enclosed by 4x4 wood beams and filled with topsoil (as was the area behind the retaining wall) - are also solidly and professionally built. I'm entirely satisfied and will definitely work with Julio again in future."

After signing the proposal I was contacted by a project manager who came to the site with his lead worker to discuss the fine details. From there the project started 2 weeks later and was completed 3 days after that. This was mid-July 2021. I didn't expect such a quick turnaround. The deck came out incredible. Very high quality.
