"I hired Cransten to remodel my bathroom. It was getting old and in need of an update. They came in, replaced the floor, built a shower pan, and laid custom tile around my shower. I was impressed with how friendly and professional they were. I would definitely hire them again!"

"we hired Cransten to do a remodel of our kitchen, master bath and floors in kitchen, dining room, living room, stairs and upstairs den. The initial process was different then I had seen before with me going over the scope of work with a project manager on the phone and me sending pictures of the rooms and spaces that would be remodeled. Different isn't bad their process worked very well. before the work the contractor Robert [Provider Name Removed] made an appointment to complete a walk through. Robert showed up early which was a pleasant surprise as most companies get there when they want. We eventually signed after a price was given. The billing process was simple. And several people from the company checked in with me each week to ensure we were happy and things were going good. A date was set to begin the demo and the project. Robert [Provider Name Removed] actually asked us what time he could start and was incredibly thoughtful of us the entire length of the process. His plan was always with us in mind in ord"

"I live chatted with them on a Monday night after 9pm ,They called me right at 8am and scheduled a service quote on old broken cast pipe under my sink ,Corey showed up at least an hr earlier than planned and that was great as we need the kitchen sink, He checked everything and gave me 3 options and prices ,No pressure at all to go with the most expensive one , Cory is a asset to the company very polite and detailed and explained everything ,Enjoyed talking to him ,He did the work and when i was ready to give up and have him do the pipe under the house he wanted to give one more try and wala it worked so new ,disposal ,new pipes and vent ,please keep in mind the main part of the house was built in 1957 so rusted and the prior owners attempt at pluming was weak to say the least .Anyways thought price was fare service 5 star and Cory i would recommend to anyone .They are my new go to plumbing company and they can thank Cory ."

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel questions, answered by experts

A powder room is not considered a wet room. Wet rooms are covered in tile to prevent water damage and commonly have an open shower or bath. A powder room would have neither a shower or bath, though it could be covered in tile as part of the aesthetic.

Unfortunately, building a steam room is more involved than simply installing a glass door and steam generator in your bathroom. Hire an electrician and plumber to get the job done correctly.

In most cases, it is safe to stay in a house while renovating. However, you should take precautions if there is active construction going on. You should keep the main living area separate from the construction zone, and make sure animals and kids don’t have access to any dangerous equipment. It’s not safe to stay in a home that’s having asbestos removed.

Shower niches can be placed anywhere they will be most accessible for those in the shower. A shower niche should be close enough to the showerhead that it’s convenient to grab products, but not so close that it’s in the direct path of the water. You can also consider the overall shower design and favor symmetry, integrate the niche with the tile design, or hire a bathroom remodeling contractor to help you decide.

Traditional style is inspired by designs commonly used in 17th and 18th century Europe. It often uses natural materials and colors, such as wood, copper, navy blue, bronze, and stone, intricate detailing, and heavy, thick fixtures. On the other hand, contemporary design tends to use sleek and angled lines, lighter fixtures, and chic, modern colors like matte black or brushed gold. Transitional design takes elements of both, often using neutral color palates with dark-hued accent pieces, soft lines, and a comfortable but not overly elegant overall feel.
