Foundation Finishes

Having endured the dysfunction of Foundation Finishes for 7 months, I was certainly glad to see them gone from the project and get life back to normal but that is not to be; now I am having to deal with the quality of their work. The latest is a leaking pipe that took out a portion of my ceiling. After attempting to get Foundation Finishes to stand by their work I have given up and hired another contractor who showed up as scheduled and stayed until the work is completed, how refreshing. Buyer beware.

Shawn is very reliable and a good communicator. He is easy to work with and will do whatever he can to satisfy his customers. I would highly recommend him.

We hired Shawn to help us with a major remodel of a home that included removing a wall, tearing out the ceiling in one bathroom to replace old plumbing lines, completely gutting the bathrooms, removing all flooring, doors and wallpaper, and installing all new flooring, doors, paint, showers, toilets, vanities, and more. The home turned out beautifully and we were able to sell it for a great price. Shawn got the work done quickly and communicated well. When unexpected issues arose, as they invariably do with this kind of project, Shawn talked through them with us and addressed them appropriately.

Shawn is an absolute professional. I’ve used him across multiple basement remodels and properties. Some of the work his team has done has included: pouring concrete across a basement, extensive plumbing, electrical, flooring and trim installation, appliance installation, toilet installation, cabinet installation, building dryer and washer hookups, epoxy,… the list goes on and on. I continue to use Shawn because his team provides high quality finishes, I can trust them to be in my properties even when I’m not there, they clean up well, and most importantly… Shawn is an excellent communicator. He answers my questions promptly, provides an overview of what I should expect, and always follows through. In my experience, it’s difficult to find GCs with exceptional communication skills. I’d trust Shawn to do just about any project despite the complexity.
