"This was to repair a toilet that was constantly running. The technician was prompt in arriving and ended up replacing the shutoff valve and the interior parts of the toilet (fill valve and flush valve assemblies). The repair seemed expensive (~$350). I noticed the the toilet was still running after the repair so I asked the company to send the technician back. He stated that there was likely a crack that was causing the running, and recommended replacing the toilet at a cost of nearly $600. I got a second opinion from another plumber who adjusted the refill tube which stopped the running. The toilet works fine now. The shutoff valve was faulty and clearly needed replacement. I'm not sure that the fill valve/flush valve replacements. The technician did a good job in his work; I'm not sure that all of it was necessary. Plus it seemed expensive. It concerns me that I could have spent another $600 for a problem that should have been detected by the first plumber. I have found that this company does decent work for the most part, but this job may have been unnecessary, and had I followed the toilet replacement advice, would have cost me a lot more money!"
