"Katy diagnosed our problem by allowing me to text her a photo of our unit, which saved a lot of time. She came quickly to personally explain our options. She was very friendly and professional and understood our concerns of fast, reliable and affordable service of a new unit that would work well for years. She truly has our best interests at heart. Our technicians were Dan and Alex and they couldn't have been better. Katy told them to treat us like family and they worked quickly to get our new furnace, AC, coil, thermostat and ducts installed, inspected and working perfectly. It was like a breath of fresh, cool air! And Katy handled getting us all signed up for a Lennox rebate that helped tremendously. She even reminded me to send her our gas bill so she could get the rebate to us sooner! Highly recommended team of professionals over there!"
"Within 24 hours of reaching out to Salt City Plumbing I was contacted by David (Dave), given an estimate for a job, and the job was completed upon my request. Dave took on this job without hesitation even though it required squeezing into a rather tight crawl space underneath a home to replace a hose bib. I will not hesitate to return to Salt City Plumbing next time I am in need of a good plumber!"
When they put the drain in they put new cement in and then the cement is a little rough. I think if it had been smoother I would have given him a higher grade. I like him and have used him a couple of times, but I think they may be a little high in price. I may look elsewhere.
"Kimball and Fredy were our installers from West Shore Home. The did an amazing job and kept us updated all day. The master plumber Jimmy even helped clear our backed up drain. Our new tub shower is beautiful!"
We have good renters in our duplex and needed the bathroom completed in no more than 3 days. Dan scheduled and worked with the plumber, marble, demo, permit, inspector and finished the bathroom in 2 days. Dan and his subcontractors were very, professional, respectful and clean covering all work areas. Our renters only had to shower at their gym 1 day. FANTASTIC!!!! Rare to find someone that follows through, is clean and does a great job! Dan was not least expensive, but the extra 300.00 was well worth a no hassle worry free job. THANKS FOR A JOB WELL DONE!

"Kell did a great job! He was on time and worked efficiently to get the job done. He cleaned up after the work was completed and even went above and beyond by taking care of the mess the leaking sink had left on the cabinet floor. I will be calling on Cransten handyman and remodeling for my future needs."
Affordable Plumbers questions, answered by experts
Yes, continuing to flush a clogged toilet is not likely to break up the clog. Instead, it will continue to put pressure on the clog while filling the bowl with more water, which can potentially cause the toilet to overflow—leading to an even bigger mess. Rather than repeatedly flushing, use a toilet plunger or plumber’s snake to dislodge the clog.
Never ignore burst pipes, as they dump heavy loads of water in their wake. This excess moisture can lead to ruined appliances, an abundance of mold, and issues with your home’s electrical system (and so much more). If you suspect a burst pipe is wreaking havoc somewhere within your system, do not hesitate to contact a professional plumber. Pipe replacement costs much less than mitigating serious water damage or structural issues.
You may have to dig out drain valves if they are buried under dirt. This method isn’t ideal, and it increases the chance of clogs and damage. Ideally, a drip irrigation system buries drain valves in a gravel pocket so they are easier to access and better-protected. If you have trouble accessing drain valves, hire a sprinkler professional to find them safely and efficiently.
The cost to fix a leaky pipe ranges depending on location—the easier the pipe is to access, the less expensive the repair will be. Because a leaky pipe under the sink is typically an exposed pipe, this is one of the least expensive repairs for a plumber to do, often costing between $150 to $300 to fix, on average.
To keep window wells from filling up with water, you need to stay on top of maintenance. Remove debris as it fills up, and regularly loosen the gravel at the base if it’s become compacted. You can also reslope your yard to make sure water flows away from the window well (and your home’s foundation), and you can even install a window well cover to prevent debris from building up. Installing an actual drainpipe at the base of the well can also prevent window well drainage problems.
