Ryan (the owner) was willing to meet with us at 8 pm on a Friday evening and scheduled the work for the following Thursday. Our weather has been very cold the last few weeks, and Ryan did as much work as possible the first day - and did not actually replace the upstairs furnace until the following day - just to make sure we didn't go without heat. Once the furnaces were removed, additional plumbing problems were discovered. Ryan was able to bring in a plumber and had the problems corrected (with prior approval from us for the additional cost). The work actually took 3 days. Ryan was friendly and worked was willing to work long days. He also made sure the worksite was clean before leaving each day. He said that a test drive showed no problems. I did notice oily hand prints on car door handle and steering wheel. On the engine cover there was dirt, a large scratch in the plastic, and more greasy hand prints. (I am fairly meticulous about keeping my cars and engines clean.) I photographed them on the spot. I paid bill and left. Next morning I found an oil pool, not a drip or two, in my driveway under the engine. I called the Autobahn owner and he was sincerely apologetic and told me to return car for inspection and repair. I did. A day later he said it was repaired. I picked it up and behold, next morning ... more oil on driveway. I returned car AGAIN and he promised he would personally check the work of his "mechanic." He called later and said it was fixed. AGAIN I drive car home and I personally crawled under it with a clean rag and wipe up the oily mess the "mechanic" had left on the suspension, cross members, motor mounts, and axles. Next morning, more fresh oil on driveway. I also noticed factory pipe clips and wiring fasteners that were snapped off and left dangling. These clips are easily undone with pliers but it was obvious that the "mechanic" just pulled them off, breaking them in the process. I told the owner this and was assured they would be replaced and the oil leak fixed (again). This is now the 4th time I have been in for one problem. The oil leak was finally fixed and some of the fasteners replaced with zip ties (not factory clips). When home (again), I checked and found that the leaked oil was not replaced (a quart low), the clamp that hold the air intake pipe to the mass flow meter was loose, a vacuum line was dangling poised to fall off, the wiring harness clamp to the throttle positioning sensor was broken, clamps that hold the transmission coolant pipes was broken and left where it vibrates against the body, the engine was again filthy, and the radiator was almost a gallon low causing ti to overheat for the first time ever. All of these I fixed myself. The owner of Autobahn is an honest and caring kind of man. Some of his mechanics are the worst I have ever seen. Not only incompetent but also not caring about quality or craftsmanship. Their shop area is dirty and they have no pride in work. I will hand it to these guys, they are fast, Iâ m in the trades as well, I understand getting in and out of projects is important, noticing now 2 years later after my roof was redone that there was significant damage done while reinstalling my solar panels as I recently climbed up to put...
It was great! Completely hassle free. 3D plumbing came out and installed the water heater in an afternoon, fixed the leak, and installed the kitchen sink. They came in, inspected the water heater. gave us recommendations, and then let us know of the cost and time frame in which they would be...
Landmark Home Warranty is practically a scam. My water heater broke one week after moving in. I called them to send someone out. After I paid the service charge of $65, their plumber installed a refurbished control valve. That night there was gas leaking out of the water heater. I called the...

Lee's Plumbing was great. The day before I had a plumber from another company come out to service my water heater because it was leaking gas. He was from my home warranty company. He installed a control valve and then left. That night I had a gas leak again. I called Lee's Plumbing and they...

At first I thought the inspection was very thorough and helpful. After I bought the house and moved in however I have changed my mind. I feel that they told me a lot of low cost items to repair or replace to make me feel like they were thorough. The third night we lived in the home we had to...

"While looking for parts to convert my boiler back to Natural Gas I was referred to CVM by Carrier (the maker of my boiler) as they were a distributor of Carrier parts and could sell me OEM parts. After calling CVM they talked me into letting them service my boiler instead of just buying the parts and doing it myself (a decision I later regretted) I was told a tech would call to make an appointment. 3 weeks after the initial call I googled CVM finding a different number and called again, emailed some info about my boiler and again was told a tech would call to make an appointment. This time a tech named Jeremiah called and indicated he needed a week to get the proper parts for my boiler. 3 weeks later after hearing nothing I called Jeremiah back and was told Carrier didn't have the right part numbers and they were to blame for the delay, another 3 weeks without any updates I called and was told he had the part and needed to set an appointment. The appointment came and he didnt show, towards the end of the day I called to confirm and Jeremiah told me he was sick and needed to reschedule. Not having any other options I rescheduled a week later again taking time from work and Jeremiah was again late for the appointment but did show and changed the orifices on the burners only. Charging me $400 for half the job and claiming he couldnt continue until the Natural Gas was connected. A week later the Natural Gas was connected and I called both Customer service and Jeremiah requesting requesting an appointment to finish the job, this never happened. After the weather turned cold I called a C&C Mechanical to come finish the job, upon their arrival they informed me the pilot Orifice had not been changed nor had the correct pilot assembly been installed. This technician had counted on this and didnt need to blame Carrier for anything as he had grabbed the correct part on his way over. All in all CVM's customer service is overall a horrible mess and this company is content to let their customers freeze! I dont recommend CVM in the slightest!"

FAQs for heating oil service projects in North Logan, UT
To buy heating oil for your house, contact local heating oil companies to compare prices and place an order once you decide on a supplier. The company will have to deliver your heating oil in a truck designed to carry and dispense heating oil safely. Call and order your heating oil early enough to have your oil delivered before you need to start using it for home heating.
On average, you’ll need about two gallons of oil per day to heat your house when it’s 50 degrees Fahrenheit outside. Most oil tank capacity is about 275 gallons, and heating your house with two gallons of oil per day will last about four and a half months. This consumption will vary depending on the climate and average temperature in your location. For example, if the winters are longer and colder where you live, you’ll probably need to refill your oil tank at least once to get through the winter.
You save money on heating oil in a few ways:
Make sure your home is well insulated and sealed against drafts and heat leakage.
Use a thermostat that’s working properly and calibrated accurately.
Program your thermostat to lower the heat when you’re not home.
Order heating oil during the off-season when prices are likely to be lower.
Summer months tend to be when heating oil prices are lowest because of decreased demand. Buying heating oil during the off-season also prepares you for when the weather gets cold, and you need to start using the oil to heat your home. Although heating oil prices will fluctuate, it’s best to avoid purchasing between September and April, as that's the peak season for heating oil demand.
Overall, heating your home with an oil furnace tends to be less expensive than heating your home with an electric heating system. Oil heating systems stay warm for longer periods of time without drawing a constant electrical current to maintain a temperature. Plus, heating oil systems typically have a longer lifespan and lower price tag than their electrical counterparts, resulting in short- and long-term savings.
