"Green Day Moving literally saved our lives! We needed super last minute help with a move in our same building and we called around and no one was available, until we called Green Day and they were at my door within the hour! The guys were super professional and all had masks on to be safe! They worked quickly and efficiently and turned what could've been a week long debacle for us, into a 2 hour move. 10/10 could not recommend enough! We'll definitely be using them next time we move!"

"Workers were polite and respectful, but amateurs compared to other movers I have worked with in the past. Past movers have easily moved files and dressers without removing drawers, for example, while these movers removed all drawers and left them out once delivered to the new location. Speed and efficiency was also somewhat lower than others I have worked with. They were adequately careful with items and nothing was significantly damaged."

"I have used this company twice now and am extremely satisfied with them.  First they are very competitively priced and I did a lot of research because I would need the company I selected three times (am using them again soon for a move to St. George).  Aaron is very responsive with all inquiries and checked after the service to make sure I was satisfied.  He appreciates your business and lets you know it.  They were a little late the second time but contacted me ahead of time with a legitimate reason, which I appreciated - no waiting around wondering where they were.  These guys were professional yet personable.  The last time I used them, three guys worked their tails off in 100+ degree heat for 6 hours and only stopped twice WHEN I TOLD THEM TO - to eat and take a short water break because it was so hot.  They listened closely to my input on how I wanted some things handled, did exactly as I asked, answered all questions courteously and handled my belongings with care.  The big moving companies could learn a thing or two from them about customer service.  In conclusion, I received everything I expected and more and I got every penny's worth.
In the process of providing me pricing for our upcoming move from Salt Lake City to St. George, Aaron even asked what my expectations were prior to giving me a quote and offered a discount because of my repeat business.  (I didn't have to ask)  Even with the cost of storage units, A.R.M.S pricing was favorable to pod-type solutions that would not deliver to St. George - only to large markets - closest being Las Vegas, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE TO GO RIGHT THROUGH ST. GEORGE TO GET THERE!!!  If you like good service, pricing and supporting locally owned businesses, A.R.M.S. is an excellent solution.

Piano Moving questions, answered by experts

Most moving companies don’t charge by weight or volume unless you’re freight shipping items. The cost of hiring movers typically depends on the number of movers and time spent on the task.

No, not tipping movers isn’t considered rude. Tipping is optional, not expected. There are plenty of alternative ways to show your appreciation without tipping.

Moving straps like forearm or shoulder straps can usually support up to 800 pounds, sometimes more with specialized straps. However, that doesn’t mean that one person can always lift that much weight, just that the straps are rated for that amount. For example, some straps require two people working together to balance the weight of the heavy item.

When loading a moving truck, the general rule is to load the heaviest and largest items first to create a stable base at the front of the truck, which helps balance the weight. You can start with large furniture like sofas, beds, mattresses, and tables to form a solid foundation, or begin by placing your heaviest boxes against the truck's walls to create a base layer. After the base is set, continue loading other large items like appliances and square furniture. Lighter and smaller objects, including most of your boxes, should be loaded last. They can be packed into gaps, around, and on top of the heavier items to maximize space. Following this order makes unloading easier and helps prevent damage to your belongings.

Yes, moving a piano often causes it to become out of tune, even if you're not moving the piano very far. One reason is that any temperature and humidity changes can affect a piano's tuning. Additionally, the bumps and jolts from a moving truck usually push a piano out of tune.

However, don't jump right to tuning it once the piano gets to your new home. Instead, it's best to wait at least two weeks for the instrument to acclimate to its new environment. After a couple weeks, you'll get an idea of what the piano will really sound like in its new home, at which point you can call a piano technician to get it properly tuned.
