"i was told by Angie's list that I would receive a twenty dollar discount. The technician came out and was not aware of any discount. He called the owner and finally decided to give me the discount. I believe Angie's list and smedleys plumbing are not on the same page. I payed Angie's list 59.00 dollars and Smedlys plumbing a 112.00 dollars not sure if I got any real discount. I'm not real happy with either company

"It turned out pretty well in general but I felt they kinda upsold me and weren't really accurate on the price. They did the job several months ago. They replaced an outside water faucet. So, what happened is, I bought a deal to replace it and they convinced me to go up to a better quality faucet, which was another deal that I could've got. The actual service was good."

"Not good. The water leaks had caused black mold that had to be repaired. When repairs were completed 3 months later, the valves still leaked from the stem when turned on. It was past 60 days so I had to pay another $100 service fee to have the water leaks fixed. He tightened the packing and quoted $350 to replace the valves. Sheesh."
