"First thing I want to say about this company is that they have excellent customer service. I was a tiny yard(under 5000 sq. ft.) and I felt like they gave me the same attention they would large customers. All my emails and phone calls were returned and I was never just ignored. Next thing I recommend is to buy their first year treatment service. They will come and do the treatment and it's also a great time for them to see the lawn, and make recommendations. All in all, it did take some time, but the lawn came in nice, but I am most impressed with their customer service."

"I think they treated the wrong lawn. The note they sent me via text message referenced trees and shrubs in my yard, I have none. They also did not leave a yard marker showing they had been there. Otherwise, this would have been a 5 star review."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

Clearing debris prevents slippery walkways under the heavy winter snowpack, keeping your family and visitors safe. Timely leaf removal also eliminates decomposing matter that adds mold spores to the air during severe winter inversions in Logan. Clean gutters and storm drains protect your home from localized flooding and destructive ice dams. A debris-free lawn will also green up much faster during the short spring growing season.

Helpful?

Fall is the primary season for this work, running from mid-October through mid-November before the first major snowfall. Homeowners in UT perform a two-phase cleanup because maples and cottonwoods drop foliage at different times. Residents align their leaf removal with the city curbside green waste collection schedule to simplify disposal. A secondary spring cleanup in March clears out any hidden debris revealed by the melting snow.

Helpful?

Sloped yards on the east bench cause leaves to slide downhill and pile against your fences and retaining walls. Large cottonwood and maple trees shed heavy volumes, while multi-story homes with steep roofs make gutter access difficult. In older downtown Logan neighborhoods, narrow side yards and lifted pavers slow down equipment. Properties near irrigation canals also face extra leaf drift and restricted access during leaf removal.

Helpful?

Timing your project before the first snow is critical to prevent leaves from matting and suffocating your lawn over winter. Strong canyon winds in UT redistribute debris, making it essential to check weather forecasts before starting. Full leaf removal protects your Kentucky bluegrass from snow mold. Since the local clay soil drains poorly, shredding and dispersing or completely removing debris works better than leaving thick layers of mulch.

Helpful?

Missing the seasonal city curbside collection window forces you to haul debris to the county facility and pay disposal fees. Inspect your gutters during cleanup, as removing debris uncovers hidden rust or sagging joints requiring immediate repair. Protect shallow irrigation heads connected to Logan canal systems, as heavy equipment damages these fixtures during leaf removal. Strong canyon winds blow new debris onto cleared lawns, requiring a second cleanup.
