"Design consultant Brian Laird was very personable and explained every aspect of the tub-to-shower conversion in an easy-to-understand manner. He answered all our questions thoroughly. Installers Colton S. and Coltrin arrived at the scheduled time and were very professional as they worked. They were very careful of our property and made sure everything cleaned before leaving. "When they were installing it, they made a hole in the old plumbing pipes. So, when we turned it on, there was a massive leak downstairs that had to be repaired and replaced. They came and replaced it, but with that price they should have replaced the pipes, and they didn't."

The International Residential Code requires a minimum of 24 inches of space in front of a walk-in shower’s entrance. That said, the National Kitchen & Bath Association recommends 30 inches of clearance, which is a bit more comfortable for most people. 

Ideally, you’ll have enough room to open your doors and cabinets without interfering with your shower. This may not be possible in a smaller bathroom.
