"Sven did a great job on a staircase remodel project as well as polishing concrete floors in my basement. I also called him for handyman service work on my sprinklers. He he was able to come up with creative solutions custom for my home. His prices were fair and he was easy to work with. I will certainly certainly call him again."

"We had a serious issue with rain runoff settling our soil at our foundation. Joe and his crew were incredible!!! He replied immediately and came out the same day to bid. His assessment was spot on, very affordable for all they had to do, and they remedied our issue quickly and even impressed our builder Rep, who said how to fix it. Joe went above and beyond to make it so we’ll never have issues again!!! I can’t recommend Joe enough and honestly, I very rarely do online reviews, but with Joe, I just had to. Yes, he is that good,,,,TRUST ME. ?"

"Clic Homes replaced our 37 year old aluminum siding with a beautiful siding called “smart siding “. Their crews were hard working, kind, and always on time. We could not be more pleased and satisfied with the quality and professionalism that Clic Homes provided. With no hesitation, we would hire them again, and highly recommend them to anyone else."

"The project turned out bigger than originally thought, but it looks incredible. The space is easier to use now, the new retaining wall is safer than before & neighbors have commented on how nice it looks. A big fan of the finished product! Will keep Jay Concrete & Construction in mind for my next project, on a different property."

Pole Barn Builders questions, answered by experts

The lifespan of a barn is typically 40 to 60 years, but with skillful construction and proper maintenance, it can last up to 100 years. The actual lifespan depends on several factors, including the barn type, materials, usage, and climate. For example, the posts of a pole barn should last 50 years or longer, but if the structure is used for livestock in a rainy climate, it may rot within the first decade. Custom designs with high-end materials tend to last the longest. To get the best estimate for your barn's lifespan, you should consider its material type and intended use.

Yes, barndominiums are energy-efficient as long as insulation professionals properly install quality insulation, windows, and doors. Utility bills for barndo living can be up to 50% lower than those for a traditional home.  Make your barndo more energy efficient by working with contractors and HVAC professionals to strategically place windows, doors, and heating/cooling systems.

Whether it is better to buy or build a chicken coop depends on your priorities, primarily cost versus time and effort. Building your own chicken coop can be significantly more budget-friendly, often costing about half as much as buying a pre-made one. If you have the time and skills, building a coop from scratch is the most economical option. However, if your time or skills are limited, buying a kit and hiring a handyperson to assemble it can be more cost-effective than hiring a carpenter to build a custom coop from scratch. If you want a perfectly constructed coop without sacrificing your own time and energy, buying one is the easiest choice.

Choose a barn door with an extra two to three inches on either side of the frame. The width of the barn door will depend on the type and placement of your track, but in most cases, an additional inch or two will do the trick.

Skid foundations, deck block foundations, and concrete block foundations are the most affordable shed foundation options. Of these, we recommend deck blocks. Deck blocks are easy to install and level, and they raise your shed up off the ground to prevent rotting from exposure to water and moisture. Keep in mind that deck blocks won’t resist soil movement or frost heave, so they’re not ideal in areas with expansive soil or a deep frost line.
