"Power recently did our roof and sliding glass door. Everything turned out great! The whole team was friendly. They were professional, punctual and courteous from start to finish. Their work was great and they gave us all the information we needed to make informed decisions. They did not push products on us we didn’t need. Transferable warranty on the roof. Recommend 100%."

"From the moment Anthony Judd, Senior Project Consultant for Spartan Roofing & Siding, arrived at our home to discuss the work we needed done, we knew we were in the best hands possible. Professional, courteous, and down-to-earth are only some accolades he deserves. Ours was a small job—replace the siding on one end of our house, along with new fascia and soffit in a couple of small areas. Anthony listened to what we needed, took photos of the problem areas, and after we explained we were on a tight budget, promised he would send us his estimate the next day at a fair price. He kept his word and even found areas of the estimate he could cut back. Alex, and Jimmy and his work crew were courteous, efficient and understanding of what we needed. We couldn’t be more pleased with the outstanding results! But when discussing Spartan, Office Manager Melanie Rodriquez can not be overlooked. Efficient, courteous, and gracious, it was a pleasure working with her. I highly recommend Spartan Roofing & Siding!"

"The team was great, especially the leads Earle, Austin, and CJ. They give you a heads up on their ETA, introduce themselves and the plan to ensure they carry out the agreement you had with the first PoC who for me was Jarret Perkins. Also a very great guy as well who will ensure your questions and overall inquiries are taken care of before, during, and after the service! The team who worked even took the time to save the plants that were near the work area and cut around the stone entrance I have so I can put it back together instead of making their lives easier and cut straight through that area of the home. They were even kind enough to seal a small chip in the driveway with the cement they used to close back the holes they made. Which by the way you can?t even see they even worked on due to how they were capable of cleaning and setting EVERYTHING back together."

"I highly recommend Affordable Glass! I had a window panel replaced within minutes, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Ms. Gabriela and Mr. Thomas went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations from carefully measuring to perfectly replacing the glass panel on my French door. Glaziers questions, answered by experts

You should avoid multi-surface cleaners, bleach, and any cloth or scrubbing material that has a rough surface when cleaning mirrors. Multi-surface cleaners and bleach will get smudges and debris off of the glass, but they more often leave behind cleaner residue because they don’t evaporate like a glass cleaner or rubbing alcohol. Additionally, any abrasive material or even the scrubbing side of a sponge can scratch your glass or coatings on the glass, gradually making the mirror look hazy.

For small, non-pressure-related cracks, you can fix them using two-part epoxy. This spares you the cost and hassle of replacing the glass. Simply clean the surface and remove any debris or dirt, wait for the glass to dry, then spread an even layer of mixed epoxy solution over the crack. You can use a putty knife or rubber spatula to push the epoxy into the crack.

They offer increased safety, noise reduction, and protection from extreme weather.

Yes, it is possible to repair a damaged or cracked mirror, but whether you should do it yourself depends on the extent of the damage. For minor issues like small chips, cracks, and scratches, you can use a DIY approach. Resin-based repair kits can fix minor cracks, while scratches can often be removed with metal polish, nail polish, baking soda, or a glass polisher. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the best results.

However, for more significant damage, DIY repair is not recommended. Repairing and resilvering mirrors is a delicate process that can involve caustic chemicals and requires a high level of precision. The materials for a DIY attempt can cost over $100, which may not be a significant saving compared to hiring a professional. Since a failed attempt could result in more damage and higher repair costs, it is often better to hire a mirror repair expert from the start, especially for large, valuable, or extensively damaged mirrors.

Smart glass may still work at night, but it depends on the type of smart glass. Some options, smart tint, are controlled by outdoor heat and light and therefore will turn back to transparent at night. Other types can provide a frosted look for some privacy at night. For example, you can turn PDLC smart glass completely opaque any time, day or night.
