"Unfortunately, without knowing the details or the number of windows quoted from the other companies, I cannot tell you the difference in price. Our windows are the best quality in the industry and we do have a lifetime warranty that is transferrable. The benefits and the features for our windows include free maintenance, 50% noise reduction and fire escape feature and that is only to mention a few of our outstanding features. We do have special promotions and special pricing for folks who do work on the first visit because that helps to keep our costs down. The statement “stay away from this business” is harsh; we are the Super Service Award winner with Angie’s List for 2 years, we have an A+ rating with the BBB, we have over 170 five star ratings with google, a 5.0 rating with porch, and that is just to name a few. We do have other windows on our site, you are correct, but we only offer 1 for folks like yourself in the coast who are prone to having hurricanes. The window we showed you is a highly rated type that will pass TDI inspection, which is the best of the best when it comes to windows and that is why we are able to offer a lifetime warranty. However, we never "shortchanged" you on the installation of the doors you ordered because you specified that you wanted a different company to install the doors. We reduced that amount of labor from the overall contract, as we were not the company who actually installed the doors for you. On larger jobs, it often does require multiple trips to the home. We apologize for any inconvenience that may have caused. Nonetheless, we did complete the work listed in the sales contract. We've made numerous attempts to contact you in regards to an unpaid balance of nearly $10,000, all with no response from you. We finally reached you after sending certified-mail, and as a result, this negative review was created. We always leave hard copies of all paperwork with the customer at the time of sale. We apologize if there may have been some confusion or miscommunication created along the way. You called us on October 2nd to schedule an appointment for someone to come out and show you our Radiant Barrier, Attic Insulation and Attic Fan options for your home. When you were talking to our scheduler you gave him your address and best contact number for you and an appointment was made for one of our Energy Consultants to come to your home. Our QC Manager calls each appointment the night before the scheduled appointment to confirm the address and to make sure that the appointment date and time is going to be convenient for you and your family and not interfere with any other obligations that you may have. The phone number you gave us ending in 8942 is busy EVERY time that we call. We will not issue the appointment if we can't get a hold of the homeowner to confirm the appointment. Our reps make a special trip to see each homeowner so it is crucial that we are able to confirm the night before when we make their schedules. You did call in and talk to one of our schedulers again to reschedule an appointment. Once again they went over your address and phone number to make sure that we had the correct information. The new appointment was set for Oct 14 at 1 pm. Starting Oct 12th, we called several times to confirm the appointment with you and each time we were met with a busy signal. Since we were unable to confirm the appointment with you we once again did not issue the appointment. To date we are still trying to call the number you provided ending in 8942 to try to communicate with you, and each time the phone is busy. According to our call records, which are all recorded with time and date stamp, we have made 42 attempts to reach out to you with no success. As we are responding to your review we are attempting to call your phone and once again there is a busy signal. We are sorry that we were unable to get into contact with you, however we made every attempt possible.
